Coaches across the country are looking for more players to find, and many from the peach state are proving that they are capable of playing D1 ball at the next level.
Here are a few prospects who have earned some big offers this week
Ethan Nation Ethan Nation 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Roswell | 2023 State GA – DB – Roswell
One of the hottest prospects out of Georgia this spring, Nation is a ball-hawking cornerback who plays a lot bigger than his size at 6-foot-0 170-pounds. He can jump out of the gym and has some of the best ball skills you’ll find from any defensive back in the state. The Roswell Hornet holds offers from Georgia, Auburn, USC, Miami, South Carolina, and Oregon, and this week he picked up another offer from N.C State. Eventually, Nation might hold every offer out there. The Fulton County native intercepted 8 passes last year in just 8 games and proved that he’s one of the top young cornerbacks in the South. He knows how to locate the football in the air as well as anyone in his class and made a handful of key interceptions and breakups for the Roswell 7-on-7 team last month at the Corky Kell tournament.

Christen Miller Christen Miller 6'6" | 285 lbs | DL Cedar Grove | 2022 State GA – DL – Cedar Grove
One of the top defensive line prospects in the country, the four-star interior defensive tackle from the Atlanta area already holds big offers from Southern Cal, Florida, Ohio State, and many more. This week, the big 6-foot-5 285-pounder earned a big offer from Oregon, and the Ducks are likely to move up towards the top of his list. One of the happiest and more friendly prospects across the state, Miller turns into a different person with the pads on, and he is TOUGH to handle for just about every opposing lineman he goes up against. Miller has been coming close to a decision, but this Oregon offer might make him think things over a little more.

Kasen Weisman – South Paulding
If you don’t know about this South Paulding gunslinger, now is the time to get to know him. Coming off an excellent season as a sophomore where he took over for a senior, Weisman showed a strong, promising arm as the season went along. He’s been excellent during the camp circuit this spring and has done a great job of getting his name out there. Not only does he have a live arm, but he’s athletic enough to make lots of plays with his feet. He’s a good runner and has more than enough speed to hurt defenses with his legs. He’s a pass-first QB though, and many feel he will have an excellent junior season this fall. More schools will start to jump on board, but Weisman picked up a big offer today from California, proving that he’s one of the top up and coming QBs in the state.
