The 2021 Fall season is just around the corner, with stadiums seeing more attendance and prospects eager to show off the hard work they’ve been putting in this off-season, let’s take a look at some players to keep in mind for this 2023 class.

<div>[player_tooltip player_id="148581" first="Peyton" last="Guerzini"] | 5’11 185lbs | RB | Castle | @GuerziniPeyton</div>
<div></div>
<div>The top running back for Castle High School will be entering his Junior Season with high expectations coming off a 1500+ yard Sophomore Season. Expect him to continue being the workhorse for the Knights, following his 15 touchdowns for the Regional Champions. With a younger O-Line this season, it will be a test of his durability and his grit. He will be sifting through offers very soon.</div>

<div><strong>Mason Wunderlich</strong> | 6’4 220lbs | QB | Evansville Mater Dei | @mason_wunder23</div>
<div></div>
<div><span style="color: #212529; font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: medium;">Wunderlich looks like every coach’s dream when it comes to foundational level QB play, he has the size, the IQ, and the heart. His 2020 campaign resulted in 2100+ passing yards with 20 touchdowns under his belt. He is clearly a huge factor for the Wildcat’s success as they will look to him to display that upperclassmen leadership to take them repeat success and ideally another post-season run. </span></div>

<div></div>
<div></div>
<div>
<div><strong>Jaylonn Mitchell</strong> | 5’11 165 lbs | QB/WR | Evansville North | @MitchellJaylonn</div>
<div></div>
<div>This multi-faceted player has the ability to breakout this year following a team-leading 480 yards and 4 touchdowns. After some utilization at QB while his team’s starter was out for a few games in 2020, don’t be shocked to see him under center as well. Mitchell has a high ceiling with major upside value, His name will be called out a lot this season.</div>

<div><span style="color: #212529; font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: medium;"><strong>Devin Mcilwain</strong> | 6’1 165lbs | DB | Brebeuf Jesuit | @McilwainDevin</span></div>
<div><span style="color: #212529; font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: medium;"> </span></div>
<div><span style="color: #212529; font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: medium;">The Braves have a tall order this year after losing their QB to Purdue, but to hold their own on defense is a sleeper pick I have seen a lot of great offseason work of, Devil Mcilwain. His Sophomore Season resulted in 11 tackles and 3 pass breakups, these numbers will only jump higher with Devin’s growth as a player. His speed and monstrous wingspan will be a sight to see on the field this fall. </span></div>

<div><span style="color: #212529; font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: medium;"> </span></div>
<div><span style="color: #212529; font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: medium;">Decker is simply put, a monster. His aggressive nature on the field is what you can only hope for in a player. natural athleticism compounded with gargantuan size, he is a force. After a successful camp tour he has picked up major interest, including offers from Central Michigan and Ball State. He has the intangibles of a star lineman for any team, plus a 3.5 GPA to boot. Decker is a rare find that will be a thrilling player to watch as he matures and moves further down his career, expect big things. </span></div>
