Alemany (Mission Hills) receiver [player_tooltip player_id="25240" first="Kevin" last="Green"] verbally committed to USC last week.
Green had a breakout sophomore year in 2019 playing with current USC freshman quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="25028" first="Miller" last="Moss"]. That season, he caught 81 passes for 1076 yards and eight touchdowns in 12 games.
He is on track to graduate early and told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that he wanted to make his decision early so he can focus on school and football this fall without worrying about recruiting. Green is taking his official visit to USC later in June.

[player_tooltip player_id="25245" first="Nathan" last="Burrell"], defensive lineman from St. John Bosco committed to Cal on Monday.
Burrell is a defensive end but when I saw him play against Mater Dei, he was lined up inside as a three-technique and even played some nose tackle. He is known for forcing a safety in the 2019 CIF championship game against Mater Dei and had an interception in that game.
St. John Bosco’s pass rush will be lethal next season with Burrell and [player_tooltip player_id="25456" first="Matayo" last="Uiagalelei"] on the edges if they choose to deploy that strategy.
He is between 270 and 280 pounds and can split doubleteams which is why Bosco sometimes plays him inside.
Burrell is the second Bosco player to commit to Cal in the past months, joining 2021 defensive end Ieremia Moore.

Benedictine College offered two talented class of 2022 receivers from Southern California this weekend.
Malachi Keels had a dominant spring for Orange Glen of Escondido. He caught 44 passes for 868 yards and 9 touchdowns for the Patriots in six games. It’s the first offer for the 6-foot-2 receiver.
[player_tooltip player_id="143118" first="Nico" last="Brown"] is a great two-way player for Edison (Huntington Beach) who was the primary deep threat for the Chargers this spring. He had 664 yards receiving and eight touchdowns for the Chargers who finished second place in the tough Sunset League. He also has offers from Dartmouth, Penn and Cal Poly.
Benedictine signed class of 2021 quarterback Braeden Boyles, who was Brown’s quarterback at Edison the past two seasons.

Mt. Carmel (San Diego) tight end [player_tooltip player_id="141895" first="Jayden" last="Virgin"] picked up his first two offers over the weekend.
San Jose State was the first to offer the 6-foot-3 tight end. Fordham followed suit and offered him Monday.
He caught 22 passes for 468 yards and five touchdowns in just six games for the Sundevils this spring.
Virgin will play for new coach Drew Westling, who was hired on Friday. Westling is a former quarterback at San Diego State and previously served as the head coach at Chula Vista High and Hilltop. His offense typically puts more emphasis on the passing game so Virgin may have a huge statistical senior year this fall.
