Top 2022’s from NE Ohio’s Lake Erie League – Cleveland Heights

This next series will take a deep dive into NE Ohio’s Lake Erie League.  I will profile the top 2022’s for the upcoming season. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Cleveland Heights</strong></span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91518" first="Maurice" last="Hamilton"]</strong> OL/DL 6’4 330 - Maurice is committed to West Virginia.  He is a beast of an offensive guard.  Comes off the snap low and hard with good quickness and a nasty streak.  He moves his feet very well and has good hand placement inside.  Quick up to the second level and sticks like glue.  In both the run and the pass has great technique.  Going to be a very good college lineman. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11310611/Maurice-Hamilton <strong>Elijah Fowlkes</strong> RB/CB 5’10 170 - One of the better athletes in NE Ohio.  Can score every time he touches the ball on offense, special teams, or defense.  Great open field wiggle with burst and athleticism.  Outstanding speed with 1 cut ability.  Can play really tight man coverage and has good technique with the ball in the air at Corner.  Exciting kick returner with good skills handling the ball in the air.  Going to explode more onto the scene in 2021. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/12189941/Elijah-Fowlkes <strong>Jaylen Coleman</strong> RB 5'9 165 - Plays as a slot back in a Triple Option offense.  He is lightning fast with good open field wiggle.  Tough to tackle due to his low center of gravity.  Keeps the ball high and tight.  Can run multiple formationed plays with him at a variety of positions.  Tough runner both inside and outside the tackles. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/15302550/Jaylen-Coleman <strong>Jeremiah Dillard</strong> WR 6'1 205 - Tall target on the outside with good route running skills and superb catching ability.  Plays in a Triple Option offense so does not get a ton of action but makes the most of it when he does.  Has good technique catching the ball and makes the tough catches.  Good open field wiggle with ball in his hands.  Can take the top off when needed.
