Now that the dead period is over, camp season is here and prospects are able to visit and camp for college staffs across the country. It’s been a hard time the last 12 months for offensive lineman specifically since they haven’t been able to show off their size and strength in person. Now that they’re visiting, multiple 2023 offensive line prospects in the peach state are starting to see some big offers come their way.
Connor Lew Connor Lew 6'4" | 260 lbs | OL Kennesaw Mountain | 2023 State GA – Kennesaw Mountain
We’ve written about Lew this spring as an “under the radar” prospect, but he might not have to carry that label much longer. The 6-foot-3 277-pounder from Kennesaw has started to make the rounds on the camp circuit and his stock continues to rise with each visit. The versatile lineman took a visit to Alabama earlier this month, and while he didn’t leave with an offer, he had a very strong showing. He ran a 4.9 in the 40-yard dash and jumped 28.4 in the vertical. One of the top young interior prospects in the state, Lew also camped at Auburn recently, but didn’t earn an offer. He did earn a recent offer from Duke University, and he’s scheduled to camp at Virginia this week. Sources say he has a great chance of earning an offer from the Cavaliers during his visit. Look for Lew’s stock to continue to rise this summer before an all-important junior season this fall.
Bo Hughley – Langston Hughes
The big Atlanta native might already be one of the top 2023 offensive line prospects in Georgia, but his stock isn’t close to it’s peak yet. The massive 6-foot-7 280-pounder already looks the part with his length, height, and frame to continue adding good weight and muscle. He’s lean right now but still has plenty of time to continue filling out. Hughley has a strong initial punch and shows great footwork and a balanced base in pass protection. His long arms giving him an advantage over smaller edge defenders, and he can be a dominant force in the run game as well. Length is something you can’t teach, and that’s exactly what Hughley has. He held down the left tackle spot for an impressive Langston Hughes team as a sophomore last year and will man down that spot again for the next two years. He already holds major offers from Auburn, Florida State, Arizona State, among others, and now he’s earned an offer from Maryland. With his best football still ahead of him, look for more offers to come his way this summer and into the fall.

Shamurad Umarov – Denmark
Another former “Under the Radar” prospect, the long, lean left tackle from Denmark is starting to make a big name for himself. He’s got great size and potential at 6-foot-6 285-pounds, and it’s going to be hard for college coaches to have him on campus and leave without an offer. The Denmark staff always said that as soon as he puts on more weight, the rising junior was going to turn heads on the recruiting trail. He’s done a good job of getting past the 280-pound level, and it was noticed by the Florida Gators who extended an offer to him last week while he was on campus. The big-time pass protector checks all the boxes and still has plenty of athleticism for his size. He still needs to continue adding weight, and if he does, more offers are expected to come his way.
After a great camp and visit i am extremely excited to announce i have earned an offer from The University Of Florida 🐊 @CoachDanMullen @CoachHevesy @KirbyOMeara @kylestein23 @Jason_Higdon pic.twitter.com/Ni4W1Kmdik
