Andrew Burgess WR,ATH- Cypress Creek High
5’7 150lbs
Burgess is a Prospect for Cypress Creek that plays on both sides of the ball. He’s an all-purpose player that last season rushed for 119 yards, one touchdown, and had six catches for 129 yards and a touchdown. He’s a scatback with big-time acceleration and long speed to break big runs at any point in the game. He’s a smaller player, but he will drop his pads and run through tackles showing physicality and toughness. He’s a player that could beat you multiple ways and Cypress Creek will use him all over the field this season.

LaDamien Starks, WR/RB- Hudson High
6’0 180lbs
Starts as a very good Prospect for Hudson High, he’s an extremely versatile player excel’s as receiver and defensive back. Last season he let Hudson Hive with 18 catches for 325 yards, six touchdowns and had three ints and seven passes defensed on the defensive side of the ball. He’s got good height and length and can play on either side of the ball at the next level. Quickly accelerates and shows top-end speed (District 100m Champ) to leave defenders, shows the ability to adjust to the ball in the air and make tough catches, he’s lethal in the quickscreen game showing good open-field running skills and the ability to take it to the house.

Jalani Pilcher RB/CB- Wesley Chapel High c/o 23
6’0 175lbs
Pilcher is an outstanding Junior prospect that plays on both sides of the ball Wesley Chapel. He mostly played cornerback the last few seasons and had 2 ints in 2020, but this spring looks to have moved to the offensive side of the ball as well and played running back. As runner he showed good vision and upfield acceleration and looked like a natural runner. At cornerback is where he really excels and in my opinion is one of the best in Tampa at the position. He has prototype height and length that you look for at that position, he’s very fluid in his movements and footwork, and does a good job playing the receiver. Nice overall prospect that should be getting some more looks this season from coaches.

Mitch Hammond- Sunlake
6’0 190lbs
Hammond is one of the best linebackers in Pasco County. He was the SAC Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference, and Team Defensive MVP! He is a tackling machine, in that game he had 14 tackles and for the year he totaled 97 tackles and 6 tackles for losses. He averaged over 12 tackles per game this season! Hammond has an incredible nose for the ball and is always in the right place, he’s a savvy/intelligent linebacker who’s key and diagnose skills are off the charts, and he takes good angles to the football. He’s also very good in pass coverage and shows the ability to cover backs out of the backfield or play zone.
