Offensive Spotlight
Tini Tinitali, WR, 5’11″ 180lbs, South Salem ’23
Tinitali sizes up with an athletic frame and is a solid athlete for South Salem as he can make plays from both sides of the ball. At WR, he shows the ability to run routes from the slot or X/Z. He’s solid route runner from multiple spots, and he does a great job disguising his routes. He consistently plays with DB’s to keep them guessing, and mixes it up well on how he sells his routes. Tinitali has shown good body control and field awareness along the boundary and has pulled in some athletic catches. Soft, reliable hands and will catch it if it’s thrown in his direction. He tracks the ball well and catches it away from his body. He displays solid top end speed overall and is a talented all-around athlete. One area he could improve his game is his physicality and route integrity. He could utilize physicality a bit more and get back on his original stem if bumped off. I expect Tinitali to mature and take a big leap from his sophomore to junior year next season. He finished the spring season with 32 receptions for 414 yards and 4 TD’s in 6 games played.
Defensive Spotlight
Brady Crenshaw Brady Crenshaw 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Lebanon | 2023 State OR , DB, 6’1″ 165lbs, Lebanon ’23
Crenshaw came out of nowhere and showcased some big time potential on both sides of the ball, and I really enjoyed watching him on the defensive side of the ball. He is still developing, but is coming along nicely and should be a player to watch next year. He sizes up with good length with room to put on weight. He possesses solid instincts as a safety and closes well as a tackler to eat up ground quick. He shows good range and speed in coverage, and is athletic enough to roll down and man up on the slot if needed. Crenshaw reads the QB’s eyes well and shows good COD to break on the ball very quick. He shows good ball skills on both sides of the ball and is a versatile athlete for Lebanon. Ball hawk ability all across the board and projects to have a huge season on both sides of the ball as a junior. He is a dangerous kickoff returner as well, and could be a new player to keep an eye on with a bigger role and expectations this upcoming season.
