The state of Arkansas has become one of the best in producing talented offensive line prospects. The 2022, 2023, and 2024 classes all have offensive linemen that the have potential to have an impressive season. We are going to examine several offensive linemen that should have strong seasons in 2021.
[player_tooltip player_id="112596" first="Matt" last="Colvin"]-Clarksville-2023
One offensive lineman that plays with a mean streak and sets the tone on the offensive line for the Clarksville Panthers. Colvin is extremely strong, and he uses that strength well to drive the opponents into the ground. He is an offensive lineman that will not be beat by trying to match power with him. Colvin mixes that power well with his quick feet and he has the potential to be a powerhouse offensive lineman for years to come. Colvin is a player to keep an eye on over the next few years.
[player_tooltip player_id="75074" first="Jack" last="Struebing"]-Springdale Har-Ber-2022
Struebing is a mainstay on the Wildcats’ offensive line. He has terrific footwork, and he uses his speed well to protect the passer. Struebing does a great job of opening rushing lanes, which is vital to Har-Ber and the flow of the offense. Struebing is setting the stage for another big season, to go along with the big offseason that he has had. Look for Har-Ber and Struebing to have a strong 2021 season.
[player_tooltip player_id="149537" first="Lane" last="Jeffcoat"]-Bentonville West-2024
It does not happen often to hear about an offensive lineman that is 6-9 and 310-pounds. Jeffcoat has the size and the strength to be major division one recruit over the next few seasons. He is a quick player that moves well and shows good footwork. The potential that Jeffcoat has is extremely high and I look for him to be a power-five prospect by the time his recruiting winds down. Jeffcoat gives the Bentonville West Wolverines an anchor on the offensive line for the couple of seasons.
[player_tooltip player_id="75082" first="Caleb" last="Stroud"]-Maumelle-2022
The Maumelle Hornets are loaded with talent. However, [player_tooltip player_id="75082" first="Caleb" last="Stroud"] is one offensive lineman that should not slip under the radar. Stroud has good power and he drive the opposing defensive linemen out of the picture. At 6-7 and 300-pounds, Stroud is another Maumelle prospect that has division one potential. The Hornets and Stroud have the potential for an excellent 2021 football season.
[player_tooltip player_id="122156" first="Allen" last="Thomason"]-2023-Pulaski Academy
The Bruins are always talented football team, and this year is not going to be any different. Thomason is a player that has exceptional quickness. Thomason excels as a pass blocking and he does an impressive job of getting out on screen passes. He has the potential to have an impressive season and set the stage for a big senior season. I do not expect to see any drop off with Pulaski Academy, they are always a talented group and Thomason has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.
[player_tooltip player_id="95746" first="Josh" last="Robinson"]-2022-Greenbrier
Robinson is an offensive lineman that can be devastating in the run game. He has good quickness and is strong enough to drive the opposing defensive lineman to the ground. At 6-5 and 260-pound, Robinson is a player that has the frame to support more weight and not lose any of his quickness. Robinson has the potential for a strong 2021 season.
