The Lindbergh 7v7 was an exhibition full of highly competitive athletes all around. There were a number of players that stood out that scouts will be able to seek out this fall season. Here are some players that showed out.
<strong>QB [player_tooltip player_id="172448" first="Micheal" last="Hopkins"] McCluer c/o 22.</strong> Hopkins continues to prove that he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the state of Missouri. He’s looking pretty sharp for his senior year. Hopkins is fairly consistent with his passes and knows how to read defensive schemes with ease. Although he is missing a couple of receivers that graduated, Hopkins still has senior [player_tooltip player_id="37634" first="Kameron" last="Gillespie"] at wideout. These two will be a dynamic duo this upcoming season.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>WR [player_tooltip player_id="37721" first="Kameron" last="Richardson"] Kirkwood c/o 23.</strong> Richardson is a fast, athletic receiver who can go up and come down with the ball whenever it’s in the air. He uses his height to his advantage whenever he’s one on one with a defensive back. Richardson shows great hands and is a sharp route runner on the field. He is one of the receivers to look out for this upcoming season.
<strong>RB Adam DuPont Lindbergh c/o 22</strong>. Although Lindbergh lost their stud running back, [player_tooltip player_id="37250" first="Logan" last="Kopp"], DuPont has stepped up to take the number one running back spot. He showed great athleticism in the 7v7 exhibition and runs hard in the open field. DuPont will be one of the top running backs to watch this fall.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>QB [player_tooltip player_id="172446" first="Octavian" last="Henderson"] Cardinal Ritter c/o 22.</strong> Now that Tjay Atkins has graduated, Henderson will be able to step up and take over the quarterback spot. At the 7v7, he never missed his target. Henderson was accurate in his throws in every rep, and he is very intelligent when it comes to reading coverages. He will be one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Missouri this upcoming season.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>DB/WR Marvin Burks Jr. Cardinal Ritter c/o 23.</strong> Burks is the best of both worlds. He is an outstanding defensive back with great instincts and is an elite ballhawk. When Burks is playing receiver, he uses his height to his advantage to overpower defensive backs to get the ball. He has great speed and an expert route runner. Burks has a good number of offers in his bag, and he will have plenty more coming in.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
