Continue ReadingWe ranked the junior quarterbacks a while back but today we are looking at some of the biggest risers on our list. We are showing you some prospects to watch out for this season. Some of these QBs could very well be some of the top quarterback prospects in the state if they have breakout seasons. Here are a few guys to know.
Hunter Talley Hunter Talley 6'4" | 205 lbs | QB Siloam Springs | 2022 State AR | 6’4″ 205 lbs | QB | Siloam Springs
Hunter has a prototype body frame that is relative to the quarterback position at both the college and NFL. He shows a good arm by making throws over the middle or deep down the field, he can hit receivers in stride. His arm strength or velocity won’t blow you away but he can fit the ball into some tight windows. Footwork and mechanics could use improvement but overall I think he is a good QB prospect that moved himself to the 8th spot on the list.
Big win last night over a good team! We’re getting better every week. Looking forward to conference play. Here are some non conference highlights. @EarlGill10 @JaidTaylorLive @ArElite100 @arelite7v7 @ArRecruitingGuy @samspiegs @rivalsmike @treyodom4 pic.twitter.com/iHCGFXmOmY

Eli Alcorn Eli Alcorn 5'10" | 155 lbs | QB Newport | 2022 State AR | 5’10″ 155 lbs | QB | Newport
Eli is a dual-threat QB and easily one of the best athletes on the field and probably the fastest. He has dangerous speed and can easily take the ball into the endzone for six points by himself. He shows he can make people miss out in the open space. I didn’t get to see him throw too much on film. It should be interesting to see if he balances out his run and passing game.

Rykar Acebo Rykar Acebo 6'4" | 170 lbs | QB Jonesboro | 2022 State AR | 6’4″ 170 lbs | QB | Jonesboro
Rykar has one of the best arms of quarterbacks on the list. If he puts on some good tape this year, I think he has a chance to surpass a lot of players on this list. He has that requisite size at 6’4″ for the quarterback position. He has a rocket launcher of an arm. He can seriously launch the ball deep down the field and hit his receivers in stride. I love the timing and footwork on all of his throws. Has some good mechanics, a few areas of improvement but let me just say this last thing about him. He’s an FBS/ FCS type of prospect and deserves some interest and offers.
very blessed to be a part of this great team !! thankful for all of the seniors and ready for next year ! https://t.co/Sz0JZXak2w

Deorius Cobbs Deorius Cobbs 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Jacksonville | 2022 State AR | 6’2″ 185 lbs | QB / ATH | Jacksonville
Cobbs can do it all out there on the field. He is an athlete with lethal speed and good arm strength. Oh yeah, and he can get after the quarterback himself on the defensive side of the ball. He is a good pass rusher. He shows wonderful speed running with the ball and is a violent runner. I like this athlete a lot.
Cooper Wilcox Cooper Wilcox 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Greenbrier | 2022 State AR | 6’0″ 175 lbs | QB | Greenbrier
Cooper is a dual-threat QB who can torch people through the air or on the ground. He shows dangerous speed running the ball and can throw bombs down the field. Running with the ball he runs hard, can drag the pile or make people miss in open space. I really love this quarterback as well. He’s got pinpoint accuracy. Yes, he is undersized as a quarterback but don’t let that be the reason you pass up on him coaches. Just might be a regret later on.
