Today, we continue our look at elite outgoing senior running backs who are still available. As we have seen, there are game changing running backs still unsigned. The four running backs that we will evaluate today are playmakers that can drive any offense forward. All four had tremendous high school careers and can do the same at the next level. These great prospects can be major difference makers at the next level.

Fruits has the ability to bewilder defenders by making them miss. When it comes time to embrace the physical side of the game, Fruits can still make a play. It often takes more than one player to bring him down. Fruits averaged almost seven yards per carry last season. Huebler knows where the hole is going to open up and sees the field very well. Once Huebler sees the hole, he puts his foot in the ground and attacks. Huebler is explosive in the open field. Once he gets through the line, he hits the gas and accelerates. [player_tooltip player_id="39034" first="Baron" last="Huebler"] can leave defenders chasing his shadow.

[player_tooltip player_id="39004" first="Mark" last="McDonald"] sets the tone for the entire offense. He has great speed and elusiveness and he can make dynamic plays. When a big play is needed to give the team a spark, McDonald is the player to turn to. He can pick up chunk plays. McDonald also does well in short yardage situations. He does well lowering his shoulder and he falls forward. McDonald frequently breaks tackles and picks up additional yardage that way.

[player_tooltip player_id="39015" first="CJ" last="Cooper"] is an all-around offensive threat. Cooper is a tremendous running back, but he can also be effective when split out as a wide receiver. Cooper is a very patient runner. He shows his instincts and understanding of the offense by allowing the hole to open up. Cooper can also run routes well and he is a sure-handed receiver. These four elite prospects can come in and compete with any major college program. These four great prospects check all of the boxes for a college running back. They each possess great physical and mental skillsets. These guys can make plays and excite an entire fanbase. All four of these top-tier student-athletes can be staples of the program at the next level.
