Siloam Springs Stateline Shootout Impressive Performances

The month of June has been a busy time for 7-on-7 tournaments and prospect camps. Pulaski Academy put on an impressive tournament with the Shootout of the South in central Arkansas and in Northwest Arkansas Siloam Springs put on the Stateline Shootout. We are going to examine some of the standouts from the Stateline Shootout in Siloam Springs over the weekend. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="140726" first="Ta’Jon" last="Sparks"]-Athlete-Springdale-2023</strong> Sparks is a player that has an opportunity to blow up during the 2021 season. The Springdale Bulldogs can line up all over the field for Springdale. Sparks flashed that versatility on Saturday in Siloam Springs. Sparks racked up six touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball, he broke up five passes. Sparks has the potential to have a monster 2021 season and a prospect that scouts are going to be checking in on all throughout the season for updates. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="153619" first="Braden" last="Jones"]-Linebacker-Bentonville West-2023</strong> One player that scouts are expecting big things out of this season is Bentonville West linebacker [player_tooltip player_id="153619" first="Braden" last="Jones"]. Jones displayed flashes on Saturday of what made him All-Conference linebacker last season. He racked up three interceptions during the tournament on Saturday. Jones was able to tack on two touchdowns this weekend as well. Jones is a linebacker that has division one potential and I look for him to continue to keep this momentum rolling. Jones is a player that could have a monster 2021 season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="144147" first="Eli" last="Craig"]-Running Back/Safety-Rogers Heritage-2022</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="144147" first="Eli" last="Craig"] came into this tournament on fire this weekend. Craig performed well at the Farmington team camp, and he continued his strong performances in Siloam Springs this weekend. Craig has displayed that burst of speed which makes him a nightmare to attempt to bring down. In Siloam Springs, Craig racked up eight touchdowns and proved to be just as tough to contain as he did earlier in the week. Craig is a player that I expect to have a big 2021 season, the work he is putting in this summer has been impressive. Keep an eye on Rogers Heritage the players are coming together as a team and have the potential to be dangerous. On Monday, we will examine some of the players that impressed in the camps at Central Arkansas, Arkansas, and Louisiana Tech.
