As we head into camp season, the first big camp for the trench warriors will be the Lineman Only Series camp in Richmond on May 22nd. We have obtained a preliminary roster and it looks like a great compilation of talent. Let’s start by looking at the offensive line and the top six players signed up so far on that side.

2022 Life Christian (Richmond) Oscar Servellon

Servellon is a guy I saw last season at a few different camps and each time I was impressed. Going to a school that plays a national schedule in Life Chrisitan, he has had chances to play against some of the more elite teams already including a matchup against IMG Academy last season.

Servellon has no offers yet but has interest from a lot of teams, Servellon didn’t make our 2022 rankings but expect him to be there when we update them.

2022 Oscar Smith (Chesapeake) [player_tooltip player_id="126910" first="Maarten" last="Woudsma"]

Woudsma is a newly-minted state champion and will look to ride that momentum at this camp. Big, physical, nasty, and with good footwork, Woudsma has offers from Campbell, Harvard, Howard, Penn, Columbia, ODU, Morgan State, Nebraska, Pitt, Dartmouth, and Liberty.

Woudsma is ranked 45th in our 2022 rankings.

2022 Stone Bridge (Ashburn) [player_tooltip player_id="126911" first="Carter" last="Sweazie"]

Sweazie, ranked 55th in our 2022 rankings is still searching for his first offer and now, as a state champion, he turns to camp season to try to impress coaches. I saw Sweazie at a few camps last season and he has decent footwork but could improve his hands, if he can do that he will see his stock rise following this camp and throughout the summer.

2022 Landstown (Va Beach) [player_tooltip player_id="126895" first="Isaiah" last="Montgomery"]

Montgomery is big, physical, and is just a dog. At Landstown, he plays both ways but in the future, it will be all OT will Montgomery’s home and he is great at that spot with good pass blocking skills and is excellent in the run game, and could be a great addition for any FBS school.

Montgomery is ranked 20th in our 2022 rankings and has offers from West Virginia, Maryland, NC State, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Florida State, Pitt, Arizona State, UVA, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, ODU, and Kent State.

2022 Nansemond River (Suffolk) Ashtin Ancheta

Ancheta didn’t get to play a VHSL schedule this season, as Suffolk schools opted to play each other within a bubble, so there is some ground to make up with his tape, but this camp will give him a great shot at putting more of his skills on tape. At 6’2", Ancheta may need to add a little height. He did not make our initial 2022 rankings but with time, he could rise into the rankings after we do our next update.

Currently, Ancheta has no offers.

We will be profiling the top recruits on the defensive side next week.
