SE Ohio’s Ohio Valley Athletic Conference – Top 2022’s

Over the next few weeks I will take a deep dive into the Ohio Valley Conference.  I look forward to detailing the top 2022’s. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>St. Clairsville</strong></span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="138559" first="Avery" last="Henry"]</strong> OL/DL 6’6 310 - 3 offers on the table so far.  Avery is a massive OL/DL with really good athleticism and quickness.  He lines up at tackle on offense and does a great job of getting up and under the defenders and finishing blocks.  Has good bend off the snap and a powerful punch.  His pulling ability is above average and he really gets after LB's on the second level.  Pass blocking is sufficient and will only get better as the time goes on.  Was really impressed with his DL play.  Comes off the ball low and hard and bends well.  Almost unblockable with really good athleticism.  Great bullrush and moves the pocket backward very quickly. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11031371/Avery-Henry <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="123036" first="Colin" last="Oberdick"]</strong> WR 6’1 180 - Colin is a highlight reel and scoring machine.  He is a three sport star.  Very tall and put together WR with good speed and athletic ability.  He does a nice job of getting on top of defenders and runs crisp routes.  He can score every time he touches the ball.  He makes athletic catches.  He has the size to shrug off tacklers.  He has the speed to take the top off.  Great blocker to boot. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11031392/Colin-Oberdick <strong>Joey Balgo</strong> OL 6’1 280 - Joey is an outstanding Guard.  He has a good size, flexibility, and really gets after defenders.  Was impressed with his pop and punch.  He plays with a mean streak.  Good at defending the inside move in the pass game.  Great at pulling and finishes blocks at the second level very well. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11031381/Joey-Balgo <strong>Jacob Jordan</strong> RB 5’7 160 - Jacob is a hidden gem of a back from eastern Ohio.  He has the speed to run past and the toughness to run through.  Shifty back with good downhill running ability as well.  Watch out in the open field because he has the wiggle to leave defenders standing there.  Can score anywhere on the field.  Very impressive football player and worth a second look on the film. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11031387/Jacob-Jordan <strong>William Smith</strong> OL 6’1 270 - Very good center with snap velocity and off hand pop in his punch.  Really has a presence in the middle and commands the offensive line.  He is quick and strong with a good base.  He gets up to the second level and gets after LB's and DB's.  He is a good pass blocker and maintains good technique throughout the plays.  Looking to see how he grows this off season into a tremendous football player.
