REVEALED: The Class of 2024 Rankings Are Here

Prep Red Zone's initial Class of 2024 rankings have been unveiled. This list, which encompasses the best rising sophomores in South Carolina, was built around players we've seen live and/or on film. We broke down what we liked and didn't like, made comparisons to older player at the same positions (or where they could potentially translate to later on should a position switch be suitable). Additionally, we sought input from coaches at the high school and college levels. The initial rankings include:

Three defensive linemen
One linebacker
Two defensive backs
One punter
Five offensive linemen
One tight end
Four wide receivers
Six running backs
And five quarterbacks

While a small number of these players were on the junior varsity level last year - and have shown considerable offseason progress or possibly couldn't unseat an older player - the vast majority were varsity contributors and even starters last fall. Regardless, all 28 factor heavily into their teams' plans come the 2021 season. We see their potential. You will, too.
