Prep RedZone Arkansas 2022 Newcomer Prospects

Anytime we do some updates to the Prep RedZone Arkansas player rankings, I get excited. Being able to look at the talent that is in the state of Arkansas is a privilege. We have added some new names to the 2022 rankings. The Prep RedZone 2022 rankings now sits at 212 names and we continue to add to the list all the time. The list will be evaluated before the football season kicks off in August and chances are excellent that we will add more names to the list. Jaylon White Jaylon White 6'3" | 200 lbs | DB Little Rock Parkview | 2022 State AR -Defensive Back-Little Rock Parkview White enters the rankings as the number 13 player overall. White is the number one defensive back. However, he takes on the role as more of the safety. White is not afraid to deliver a hit. The part of his game that sticks out to scouts is that White is always around the football. White has earned 15 scholarship offers and he has the potential to have a huge season for the Parkview Patriots. Parkview has an extremely talented roster and White is just one of the Patriots on the rankings. White has an opportunity to have an excellent season and the only question remaining is where he plays his football on Saturdays next fall? Ryan Maxwell Ryan Maxwell 5'8" | 155 lbs | DB Fayetteville | 2022 State AR -Defensive Back-Fayetteville Staying in the defensive secondary, we see that Ryan Maxwell Ryan Maxwell 5'8" | 155 lbs | DB Fayetteville | 2022 State AR enters the rankings. Maxwell enters the rankings in the 28^th position and as the third defensive back in this set of rankings. However, he is the top cornerback in the state of Arkansas. Maxwell does an excellent job of using his hands to redirect the opposing wide receiver. The Fayetteville cornerback has plenty of potential and he is a player that will be playing on Saturdays in the future. Opposing quarterbacks have gotten to where they avoid throwing in Maxwell’s direction and it will be interesting to see if that trend will continue this fall. William Diggins William Diggins 6'3" | 270 lbs | OL Bryant | 2022 State AR -Offensive Line-Bryant One unit that is going to be solid for the Bryant Hornets, is the offensive line this season. Diggins has racked up four division one offers and has the potential to earn more this season. Diggins is a devastating run blocker, and he uses his hands well to get into the opposing defensive linemen. He is solid as a pass blocker and does a good job of using his feet to make life difficult for the opposing defender. Diggins enters the rankings at number 112 and has the potential to move up over the course of the next few updates. Jace Benesch Jace Benesch 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Hoxie | 2022 State AR -Linebacker-Hoxie Benesch is a tackling machine for Hoxie. He racked up 143 tackles and five forced fumbles last season. Benesch is a mainstay on the Mustangs defense. He is always around the ball and plays with good speed. Benesch’s solid play has earned him a scholarship offer from Tennessee-Martin. The Hoxie linebacker has the potential to have an even bigger season this and will likely shoot up the rankings. Benesch enters the rankings at number 113 and will be a player to keep an eye on this season. William Litton William Litton 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Quitman | 2022 State AR -Quarterback-Quittman Litton has flown under the radar in Quittman. However, Litton’s play has been solid over the past few years and the scouts should take notice. The numbers paint a great picture of just how solid a quarterback that Litton is. Litton passed for 2,481 yards and 21 touchdowns. Litton was just as dangerous on the ground, rushing for 1,201 yards and 21 touchdowns. He has a strong, accurate arm and he is nightmare for the opposing defense in the red zone. Litton enters the 2022 Arkansas Prep RedZone rankings 117. Litton is a player that has the potential to shoot up the rankings and I fully expect him to do just that.
