Continue ReadingWe’re in the middle of May and we’re seeing high school teams start to wrap up spring practices as we head towards the summer. While most college programs have a good idea about who they are currently targeting in the 2022 class, but some of the state’s top prospects continue to see big offers come their way. We’re even seeing some impressive 2023 and 2024 players start to reel in major D1 offers as well. Offers are coming through the peach state at a rapid pace, and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
Here are a few prospects who have earned more offers over the last week…
Lawson Luckie Lawson Luckie 6'3" | 225 lbs | TE Norcross | 2023 State GA – Norcross
We know how deep the TE group is in Georgia for the 2022 class, but the 2023 class has some stud TEs as well. The best of the bunch might be the big 6-foo-4 220-pounder out of Norcross. Luckie comes from a big football family and has family members who have also played major college football in the past. Luckie is a true do-everything tight end who can make a big impact not only in the passing game, but blocking in the run game as well. He already holds a number of impressive D1 offers, but he’s earned a few more over the last few weeks. He’s had a big month of May on the recruiting trail, and in the last few days he’s received offers from Texas A&M, LSU, N.C State, Vanderbilt, and Louisville. He’s one of the hottest prospects in the state right now due to his size, athleticism, and ball skills. Look for him to take on a big leadership role and be a key member of the Norcross offense as a junior this year.
#AGTG Blessed to say that after a GREAT conversation with @CoachGoebbel, I’m proud to say that I’ve received an offer from the University of North Carolina State @CoachSanders14 @CoHosch @CoachRaw_ @Slytown83 @LabWorksTraini1 @TEwracademy @ATLRecruits @Mansell247 pic.twitter.com/rtl5Oxoz1p

Kaden McDonald – North Gwinnett
The North Gwinnett standout has been mentioned by Prep Redzone multiple times now, and it’s because he’s one of the top 2023 defensive linemen in the state who continues to get better and better. There aren’t many big guys who can move the way he does at 6-foot-3 325-pounds, and that’s why he’s one of the best. He’s big and powerful, but his initial burst and quickness is what stands out the most. He’s a total disrupter from the middle and can get off blocks with ease if he’s not double-teamed. He has a giant offer list right now and added another impressive offer this week from N.C State.

Oscar Delp Oscar Delp 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE West Forsyth | 2022 State GA – West Forsyth
As soon as he thought the offers were going to stop coming in, the four-star from Cumming earned his 35th offer, and it was from TCU. The big 6-foot-4 220-pounder is the nation’s top tight end prospect and he already owns major offers from Georgia, Florida, Clemson, Alabama, South Carolina, Michigan, and just about everywhere else. The playmaking tight end can do everything asked of him, whether it’s flexing out and making playing receiver, or helping to block on the edge in the run game. He’s an outstanding route-runner and was a major part of the Wolverines offense last year as he scored 7 touchdowns in just 7 games. Look for Delp to make an instant impact at the next level wherever he ends up.
