Prep Redzone breaks down the defensive ends currently in the Maryland Class of 2023 prospect rankings. PRZ Maryland will add more offensive linemen prospects to the list throughout the summer. For now, I’ll break down three of the top defensive linemen on the list.
Key: Great, Good, Average, Below Average, Poor
No. 6 [player_tooltip player_id="146630" first="Kahari" last="Finley"]/6-6/290/Rock Creek Academy
Finley has an offer from Marshall. We will re-evaluate him at the end of camp season. He has no highlights from the 2020 season. We base this pick on potential.
No. 5 [player_tooltip player_id="146629" first="Robert" last="Kegler"]/6-7/315/Offensive Tackle/National Christian Academy
Kegler has an offer from Boston College. With no highlights available, we base a lot of this on potential. Hopefully, we’ll get more information on Kegler before the next update.

Walker has an offer from Boston College. He is another player who didn’t get to play his sophomore year because of COVID-19. Therefore, we only have his freshman highlights to go off of for now.
No. 3 [player_tooltip player_id="90650" first="Michael" last="Crounse"]/6-5/285/Offensive Guard/DeMatha

Crounse has offers from Iowa State, Maryland, Michigan State, and Pittsburgh. His highlights showcase his strong run-block skills. I didn’t see enough on his highlights to give a true evaluation of his pass blocking.

Link has offers from Boston College, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin. Upon further review, he’s a strong candidate for that No. 1 position. He was one of the few prospects in the Maryland/DC area that played any games last season.
No. 1 [player_tooltip player_id="90645" first="Antonio" last="Tripp"]/6-4/300/Offensie Guard/McDonogh

[player_tooltip player_id="90645" first="Antonio" last="Tripp"] has 15 offers and counting despite not being able to play a game during what would’ve been his sophomore year season because of COVID-19. Boston College, Kentucky, Michigan State, Liberty, Penn State and Texas A&M are among the schools that have offered Tripp. Tripp also wrestles for his high school. Right now, we only have his freshman year highlights to go off of as far as on-field evaluation.
