Kel Busby-Pulaski Academy
Busby is an accurate passer that does not put his wide receivers in positions where they would take an unnecessary hit. He does an impressive job of keeping his eyes down the field and moving around in the pocket enough to buy time to make the throw to his wide receivers. Busby displays a strong arm and can make all the throws needed to be a successful quarterback. One facet of Busby’s game is that he uses his legs to extend the drive and pick up extra yardage. Busby is going to be a quarterback to watch over the next few years. Busby has a high ceiling and plenty of potential to light up Friday nights over the next few years.
Walker White-Little Rock Christian
Walker White is a quarterback that will cause a defense plenty of headaches throwing and running the football. At 6-4, White already has the size that scouts are looking for to play the quarterback position at the next level. He is an extremely versatile player, having lined up at wide receiver for the varsity team last season. White can extend plays in the pocket with his legs, and he will either scramble or make the throw to his receiver. He has a strong arm and is accurate quarterback. Little Rock Christian has a talented player coming up through the ranks at the quarterback position in the form of White.
Bradon Allen-Lonoke
Opposing defensive coordinators are going to experience some headaches in planning for Allen. Allen is impressive when he is buying time with his legs and making the throw on the run. The Lonoke coaching staff has a dual-threat quarterback in the form of Bradon Allen. Last season, Allen rushed for 22 touchdowns and over 1,100 yards. Allen has the speed to create problems for the opposing defense. The threat to throw is always there and Allen has the arm strength to make the throw. Allen is going to be an interesting quarterback to watch develop over the next few years.
Drake Lindsey-Fayetteville
Drake Lindsey flashed a strong arm at the Fayetteville spring game a week ago. The young man moves around well in the pocket. He can extend the plays when needed just with the use of his legs. Lindsey does a good job of keeping his eyes down the field and making the throw. He can throw with touch on the football, or he can burn it when he needs to. Lindsey is a quarterback that has plenty of potential and he is going to be a quarterback to keep an eye over the next two years.
Bryce Essex-Springdale Har-Ber
Essex is a quarterback that is not afraid to use his legs to pick up yards. He runs angry and it is impressive watching him in the open field. From a passing perspective, Essex extends plays and does a good job of throwing to the open wide receiver. Essex has played all over the field as a freshman. The versatility that he brings to the field is going to be a big plus as he develops at the quarterback position. Essex has a good and arm and is an accurate quarterback and that is something that the Har-Ber Wildcats can use and throw in his dual-threat ability, you have a solid quarterback coming up through the ranks.
