Walker Lyons Walker Lyons 6'5" | 230 lbs | TE Folsom | 2023 State CA , TE, Folsom
Lyons is one of the fastest rising 2023 recruits in the nation. Just this month he has received elite level offers from Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU, Texas A&M, and Auburn bringing his total to 20. At 6’5” 235 lbs. he is one of the top TE prospects in the nation with his combination of size and athleticism. He’s a plus athlete that flashes good burst, bend, and body control as a receiving tight end. He displays strong and confident hands with a large catch radius that extends past his framework. Colleges love the way he’s able to snatch and attack the ball in the air and he flashes a good ability to high point. Great technique and fundamentals as a route runner but also has the ability to body up and block defenders to create a throwing lane. Expect the offers to keep rolling in for him.
Cooper Flanagan Cooper Flanagan 6'6" | 240 lbs | TE De La Salle | 2023 State CA , TE, De La Salle
At 6’6’” 240 lbs. Flanagan possesses ideal size, frame, and length for a Power 5 TE. He’s such an appealing prospect for major D1 programs because of his ability to be effective both as a receiver and an inline blocker. He has great body control, athleticism, and coordination for his size. He’s easily able to adjust to the ball and make difficult catches using that body control and large catch radius. Still developing as a technical route runner but shows he can find soft spots in coverage and be a big and reliable target for the QB, especially in the middle of the field. He shows a good ability to get a release and avoid traffic/contact from the DL and LB’s. As a blocker, he’s extremely physical and a finisher. He uses great balance and leverage to latch on and drive his legs through contact to get a push off the ball. Holds offers from Tennessee, Cal, San Jose State, Washington, Michigan, and Michigan State but his recruiting is still in the early stages.
Javance Tupouata-Johnson Javance Tupouata-Johnson 6'4" | 200 lbs | QB Chaminade | 2023 State CA , QB, Notre Dame
Possesses all the physical tools colleges look for in a signal caller at 6’5” 210 lbs. with a live arm. His arm talent alone will put colleges on notice but combine that with his size, athleticism, and natural ability at the QB position it wont be long until more colleges come calling. He has a compact and tight release with an over the top delivery that allows him to get the ball quickly and on time. He shows a great ability to mix up velocity and trajectory to throw around a defender or a more catchable ball for his receiver. In the pocket, he flashes good mobility and feet to avoid pressure before setting his feet and delivering. He stands tall with a strong balanced platform ready to drive off the backfoot. Good ability to throw off platform without sacrificing accuracy when he needs too. Was offered by Arizona State and San Jose State in the fall but with his high ceiling we expect more colleges to offer as he is able to showcase his skillset.
Joey Su’a Joey Su’a 6'5" | 315 lbs | OL Adelanto | 2023 CA , OL, Adelanto
Recruiting has skyrocketed overnight with four top programs offering the same day including Michigan State, Georgia, Oregon, and Maryland. He possesses elite level size at 6’5” 315 lbs. with good athleticism and mobility. He’s extremely flexible and flashes good feet/bend to quickly get out of his stance and establish positional leverage. Also shows quick hands snapping them into position ready to punch, initial punch is strong with good extension. He’s naturally strong and powerful at the POA driving through contact and is easily able to overpower opponents and finish his blocks. Shows he can execute different blocks and be effective working to the second level and blocking in space. Great foundational skillset to build and watch as his recruiting is about to take off.
Roderick Robinson II Roderick Robinson II 6'1" | 220 lbs | RB Lincoln (San Diego) | 2023 State CA , RB, Lincoln (San Diego)
Robinson easily passes the eye test with his well-built and powerful frame at 6’ 225 lbs. He has shown great year over year improvement and it has shown in his recruiting, recently picked up his first offer from San Diego State. He flashed significant improvement in speed, quickness, and lateral agility during the short spring season and in offseason showcases. He’s a downhill runner with a good combination of speed and power. He flashes good short area burst/acceleration in space to run away from defenders but can also break tackles and run through contact. He shows good patience, vision, and decisiveness to read blocks and burst through the hole. He’s effective in the passing game with strong and confident hands out of the backfield. Great upside and potential if he can continue on the same trajectory.
