The player rankings were released on Tuesday. There were seventeen quarterbacks included in the player rankings. I am following up with a review of the top five quarterbacks.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="44970" first="Tad" last="Hudson"], 6’3", 205, Hough HS (No. 1 QB, No. 6 Overall)</strong>. Tad displays confidence in the pocket. He takes a two-step drop, throws accurate passes in tight spaces as well as on the long ball throws. Tad displays the ability to throw on the run with accuracy. T<strong>ad Hudson</strong> led a high-powered offensive unit to an undefeated regular season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="117098" first="Connor" last="Clark"], 6’6", 210, Cardinal Gibbons HS (No. 2 QB, No. 8 Overall)</strong>. Connor displayed leadership and poise as he led a high-powered offensive unit to an undefeated regular season. He is a great arm talent who can really throw the ball accurately on medium and long range passes. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="117098" first="Connor" last="Clark"]</strong> gained big yardage when he decided to run to avoid being sacked.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="44972" first="John" last="Mark Shaw"], 6’5", 205, Broughton HS (No. 3 QB, No. 11 Overall)</strong>. John is a great arm talent who throws accurately out of the pocket and on the run. He displayed good foot speed for his size and runs well in the open field. John remains calm under pressure in the pocket to complete the pass.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="44987" first="Cameron" last="Enos"], 6’0", 180, Parkwood HS (No. 4 QB, No. 23 Overall)</strong>. Cameron displayed a quick release on his passes. He has good arm strength which is effective on the long throws. Cameron is active in the pocket completing the pass or running to avoid a sack. He runs with power and has good balance.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="44988" first="Andrew" last="Frazier"], 6’0", 190, Havelock HS (No. 5 QB, No. 31 Overall)</strong>. Andrew was the most efficient quarterback in the state of North Carolina for the season, completing 74 percent of his passes. He is a dual threat as a quarterback and as a runner, who does not go down after initial contact. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="44988" first="Andrew" last="Frazier"]</strong> led a high-powered offensive unit to an undefeated regular season.
