We take a look at some of the top running backs who moved up the most on our rankings. Some of the backs made a name for themselves and had a break-out season in 2020. There are some new names also that we have added to our list of very talented running backs in the state of Texas. Here are the top senior running backs who raised up our rankings.

Darion moved way up on our charts compared to last season after not even being ranked in the top 25 running backs in the state. Now he is in the top ten at the NO.8 spot. Darion is a three-sport athlete and a beast at the running back position. He currently has 26 offers including Vanderbilt, Nevada, Boston College, Colorado State, and others. Look for him to put on a special senior campaign.

Damien made our top ten list of running backs in the state. The Oregon State commit chose the beavers over Georgia Tech, Kansas, San Diego State, and Texas State. In 6-6A Co-Offensive Player of the year as a junior and Offensive newcomer of the Year as a sophomore. He has a career total of 325 rushing attempts, 2629 yards rushing, 38 rushing touchdowns. Don’t forget he can also catch out of the backfield as well. He had 23 receptions, for 206 yards and 2 TDs in his career.

Arguably one of the top recruits in the state at the running back position. Jamarion has a wealth of top schools fighting over him. He has his choice over USC, Oklahoma State, Florida, and experts think coach Saban and the Alabama Crimson tide have a good chance at landing Miller in Tuscaloosa.

The Duncanville running back recently committed to the University of Colorado State. The rams are getting a big running back who can absolutely plow over people. In 2020 he helped Duncanville to a 10-2 record and a 6A d-I state semifinal that was a nail-bitter between Southlake Carrol and Duncanville. In 2019 he was named 2-6A Offensive Newcomer of the Year while playing for the MOJO in Odessa Permian.

The Midland lee running back is a tough one to bring down. Earning himself a spot in our rankings(36). An improvement from not even being on the list last year. He is a tough running back that can break arm tackles running in the holes that the offensive line develops for him. He shows patience in finding the open holes and has quick acceleration out of the backfield.
