The 2024 class in Washington is a very talented group of players. Some of which were able to come up to the varsity level and dominant against solid competition. The future is bright for these 2024's players, and the RB position is dominant in this class. Take a look at 10 players from the class of 2024 that you need to know:
<strong>Unterrio Latin-Henley</strong>, <em>RB, Eastside Catholic<img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-24527" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2020/06/Generic-Featured-Image-2-300x187.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="187" /></em>
Latin-Henley is a very athletic kid with excellent explosiveness and change of direction that has made him a big play threat. He possesses tremendous athleticism all around with position versatility. He can line up in the slot and run crisp routes, run between the tackles, or run on the edges. He holds numerous offers including Nevada, Utah, USC, Arizona and Washington State.

Brown is yet another freshman RB that holds multiple offers including Nevada, Utah, Washington, USC, and Texas. He sizes up with an excellent frame at 5’10" 185lbs and accelerates through holes with balance, running through initial contact. He can run the ball between the tackles with physicality or use speed on the edges, and is trending in the direction of a scary all purpose back.
<strong>Joshua Collie</strong>, <em>ATH, Spanaway Lake HS</em>
Collie picked up his first offer from Florida Atlantic in April, and was then offered by Florida State back on May 1st, and will only continue to see the offers pour in. He’s a very athletic kid all around with a massive ceiling. A highly touted prospect that will only continue to make plays and rise his stock.

Schakel was the QB1 as a freshman, and absolutely lit it up. He shows excellent pocket mechanics and stands tall with poise. He delivers accurate throws with timing and placement, and looks to be a step ahead of every 2024 QB. [player_tooltip player_id="115327" first="Rashawn" last="Clark"], <em>ATH, Life Christian Academy </em>
Clark is a shifty, speedy kid with exceptional athleticism. He’s productive from both sides of the ball and is a very dynamic player all around. He holds an offer from Florida Atlantic, and should see many more offers come in soon. He pulled in 18 receptions for 314 yards and 2 TD’s, ran for 111 yards and 2 TD’s, and added 13 tackles with an INT on defense, and can return kicks/punts as well.

Schell is a solid all around player for Life Christian Academy and has made an impact on the ground, as a pass catcher, and on the defensive side of the ball. At RB, he shows a nice initial burst and displays solid lateral mobility to cut and stop on a dime. He ran for 259 yards and 4 TD’s with 9 receptions for 84 yards and a TD and 13 tackles.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="115331" first="Brecken" last="Pelletier"]</strong>, <em>ATH, Morton/White Pass HS</em>
Pelletier was a stong player onboth sides of the ball as a freshman, and showcased some potential. He was able to rack up 197 yards and 2 TD’s on 21 carries and added 39 tackles on defense in a 6 game season. Expect Pelletier to play multiple positions next year and be a key player during his sophomore campaign.
<strong>Michael Toa,</strong> <em>DE, Graham-Kapowsin HS</em>
Toa totaled 2 sacks and 10 tackles on the short 4 game season, but has flashed some solid potential into developing into a threat as a pass rusher. He’s shown quick and violent hands on one of his sacks, and will only continue to get better. Toa should have a bigger role on the Graham-Kapowsin defense next season, and it’ll be fun to see how he develops his game.
<strong>Deshaun Castro</strong>, <em>RB, Clover Park HS<img class="alignright wp-image-40970" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2020/08/PrzIcon3-294x300.png" alt="" width="231" height="236" /></em>
Castro is a player that could very well bust loose next season. He displays excellent balance and is slippery in tight spaces. He shows a nice initial burst and accelerates through opening lanes well. He can catch the ball out of the backfield and get upfield, and holds a high ceiling. He sizes up at 5’8" 180 as a freshman and looks like a promising young prospect given his athleticism.
<strong>Fabian Pacheco</strong>, <em>LB, Highland HS</em>
Pacheco led all freshman in tackles with 41 total tackles. He was also able to accumulate 2 sacks and a PBU, and projects to have a big role entering his sophomore season.
