Warren (Downey) quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="25390" first="Nico" last="Iamaleava"] has picked up three major offers this past week.
The class of 2023 standout was offered by Georgia, USC and Oregon.
It’s worth noting that Iamaleava’s cousin Viane Talamaivao is a quality control coach at USC. Trojans head coach Clay Helton and other assistant coaches including Talamaivao offered Iamaleava a scholarship on a FaceTime call Monday.
Iamaleava told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that his favorite three football teams growing up were Oregon, UCLA and USC.
<p class="p1">"Man I loved all of them," lamaleava told Biggins. "I have strong ties to all three programs. I have an aunty who played basketball at Oregon. I have uncles and cousins who played at USC, Viane is coaching there now and I was a huge fan of Troy (Polamalu)."</p>
<p class="p1">"UCLA has always been a fan favorite of mine and it’s right in our backyard. Plus my uncle (Johnny Nansen) coaches there now and they have been on me hard for awhile so I have a lot of interest there."</p>
Iamaleava has thrown for 808 yards through three games with 14 touchdowns and just one interception.
