Five months prior to the start of the 2021 football season, we’re ready to hand out some way early preseason awards. Here are the 11 offensive players, regardless of grade or classification, we we think are the best of the best going into Spring Football, the summer 7-on-7s and fall camp.
<strong>RIGHT TACKLE</strong>

Steering opposing linemen to the inside, outside or flat on their back is no problem for this 6-foot-4, 285 pounder. Edwards has a frame that’s ready for the next level.
<strong>RIGHT GUARD</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="91355" first="Markee" last="Anderson"], Dorman
While he occasionally drifts to the other side of the line, you can tell that Anderson is extremely comfortable here plowing holes for Dorman’s multi-faceted and schemed offense.
<strong>CENTER</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="59477" first="Jayden" last="Johnson"], Goose Creek
For a guy always working the shotgun, his “completion” percentage while being asked to lift and take care of business is perfect. Did we mention he’s 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds?
<strong>LEFT GUARD</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="91139" first="Kanaan" last="Ligons"], Ridge Spring-Monetta
Ligons is a hand fighter on the line, but combined with his growth from the beginning of the year to the end shows how good he already is despite some of his raw ability.
<strong>LEFT TACKLE</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="59461" first="Collin" last="Sadler"], Greenville
The best part of watching one of Clemson’s big-three in-state commitments from the class of 2022 is seeing Sadler pull block some unsuspecting linebacker into oblivion.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>TIGHT END</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="59460" first="Jaleel" last="Skinner"], Greer
Skinner is a 6-foot-5, 215-pound dynamic tight end who is able to split out when asked. He blocks better than most, but he’s not just chilling on the line.
<strong>WIDE RECEIVER</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="91140" first="Eli" last="Merck"], Daniel
This high-flying offense is able to do so many of the things it wants because of Merck. The two-year starter has another two to go before it’s all said and done.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>WIDE RECEIVER</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="59464" first="Adam" last="Randall"], Myrtle Beach
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Clemson commitment is big, strong, fast and as sure-handed as they come. He may spend all of 2021 under double coverage.
<strong>WIDE RECEIVER</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="61070" first="Antonio" last="Williams"], Dutch Fork
During his junior year, Williams averaged 150 yards and a touchdown each night out. As a result, his offer train list through the roof in the last few months.
<strong>RUNNING BACK</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="59468" first="CJ" last="Stokes"], Hammond School
With some of the talent around him moving on, Stokes’ already impressive workload is about to make him arguably the most prominent offensive puzzle piece in the entire state.
<strong>QUARTERBACK</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="89339" first="Raheim" last="Jeter"], Spartanburg
During his sophomore season last fall, the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Jeter proved he could make all the throws, from the out to the seam to the deep. He’s a special talent.
