Over the past few weeks, a number of recruits have seen the stock go up in terms of impressing scouts and observers. The names in this list will be from the 2022, 2023, and 2024 classes. All three classes have prospects that will be playing football on Saturdays in the future. We are going to take a look at some of those players that had their stock go up over the past couple of weeks. [player_tooltip player_id="75086" first="Daniel" last="Poole"]-Defensive Back-Stuttgart-2022 Over the past two weeks, on the seven-on-seven circuit Poole has been all over the field. His stock was already on the rise from last season. Poole had 44 tackles, nine pass break ups, and 11 tackles for loss. Poole has always played the opposing wide receivers extremely tough. However, he has really become a shutdown defensive back over the past two weeks. Poole is a playmaker all over the field for Stuttgart and last season he accounted for 10 touchdowns on the season. Up to this point, Poole has managed to stay under the radar, however his performances in front of observers and scouts is going to cause his name to appear on many college team’s list of players to contact. [player_tooltip player_id="75067" first="Joe" last="Himon"]-Running Back-Pulaski Academy-2022 The Pulaski Academy running back continues to draw the attention of scouts with impressive performances at the performance camps over the past two weekends. Himon does an excellent job of getting into the open field and displaying his second gear. He has shown both at Pulaski Academy and on the seven-on-seven circuit that he is a running back that does not have any trouble catching the football. As far as his rushing totals go, the young man punched the ball in the end zone 23 times and racked up 1,925 yards rushing in 2020. Himon has earned the attention of a number of colleges and the recruiting momentum does not appear to be slowing down for the Pulaski Academy Bruin. [player_tooltip player_id="75070" first="James" last="Jointer"]-Running Back-Little Rock Parkview-2022 Jointer has kicked off the seven-on-seven circuit with terrific performances over the past few weeks and that will come as no surprise to Little Rock Parkview fans. Jointer is a patient running back that does and excellent job of picking the rushing lanes. He allows his offensive line to clear the path and he chooses the hole wisely. An area that is extremely impressive is his receiving skills. Jointer uses his speed to create separation and he runs his routes well. Jointer’s stock continues to rise, and the 2021 season should be a big one for the Arkansas commit. [player_tooltip player_id="75096" first="Caleb" last="Harris"]-Tight End-Prescott-2022 The Curley Wolves tight end is a red zone threat. Harris is seeing his stock rise even more in the seven-on-seven circuit. Harris racked up 400 yards receiving and nine touchdowns with the Curley Wolves. Harris uses his athletic ability well to high point the football. He is 6-4 and just a match up nightmare for the opposing defense. Harris is too quick for opposing linebackers to cover and too big for safeties to attempt to bring down. Harris is going to be a prospect that continues to rack up offers through the offseason and he has the potential to see an influx of offers during the season. [player_tooltip player_id="75084" first="Manny" last="Smith"]-Athlete-Conway-2022 Smith is a nightmare to cover for most defensive backs. Smith has shown a willingness to line up at any position asked of him and he is a playmaker on either side of the ball. He does a great job in creating separation from the defense using his speed. One area of his game that does not get enough credit is hands. Smith has terrific hands, and he does a great job of hauling in tough receptions. He is a player that has flown under the radar and at some point, scouts will need to take notice because he is simply too productive a player to pass up. Look out for a solid season from the Conway Wampus Cat.
