Georgia saw some great tight ends take the field this past season. Some prospects dominated while others flashed on occasion. Many prospects are putting in work this offseason. Many of them are participating in camps and 7-on-7s. Today we are going to cover multiple tight ends worth studying this spring.

</strong>Christian is a physically imposing tight end. The Ohio State commit is 6’6” and 235 lbs. He is a great blocker, quickly engaging defenders and driving his feet. Christian is comfortable running out routes and finds the open space in zone often. His hand-eye coordination is fantastic, he made some great catches last season.

</strong>Delp is arguable the best tight end in his class. Delp has the perfect combination of speed and size. He can separate from second-level defenders, as well as make them miss. Very fluid runner. He stretches the field vertically. Delp has great hands, catching passes with ease. Delp is a very capable blocker and sets the edge well.

</strong>Head is a great young tight end. He is a versatile prospect who can play off the tackle and split out wide. He runs a variety of routes well and creates separation consistently. Head has strong hands and is comfortable catching the ball away from his body. He is our 3rd ranked tight end in his class.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="95145" first="Jake" last="Johnson"], Class of 2022, Oconee County
</strong>Johnson is our 2nd ranked tight end in his class. Johnson has amazing ball skills and can high-point the ball in jump-ball situations. Johnson has a wide catch radius. He is a great route runner and consistently creates separation. Johnson has excellent strength and requires multiple defenders to bring him down.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="33937" first="Marlin" last="Klein"], Class of 2022, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee
</strong>Klein is an athletic tight end. The three-star Michigan commitment is a nice route runner with great footwork. Klein stretches defenses vertically. At 6’6” and 215 lbs he’s a viable target for high passes. Klein is comfortable running a variety of routes. He positions his arms well when blocking.

</strong>Luckie is an emerging star. He uses his size to box out defenders and make contested catches. He is a great pass catcher with sure hands. He does a great job finding the open space in zone. Luckie consistently makes plays. Luckie is an amazing blocker and plays through the whistle.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="33880" first="Jack" last="Nickel"], Class of 2022, Milton
</strong>Nickel is a top-tier tight end in Georgia. The great tight end recently de-committed from Notre Dame. He has great size and a nice frame to go with it. His frame helps him do a tremendous job blocking. Nickel does not get bothered by contact when running routes. He has good hands and can catch the ball cleanly. Nickel is great at picking up extra yards.

</strong>Staes is a playmaking tight end. The Penn State commit has excellent hands with a wide catch radius. He catches the ball with ease. Staes finds the open space in the middle of the field very well. Staes’ ability to pick up yards after the catch makes him stand out. He is a very capable blocker.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="33958" first="Tyrus" last="Washington"], Class of 2022, Lee County
</strong>Washington is a fantastic tight end out of South Georgia. Washington is capable of boxing out most defenders at 6’4” and 230 lbs. His size and strength also serve him well when blocking, he is great at making impact blocks. Washington can find the open window in zone. He is a legit receiving threat.
