Bishop McDevitt is a powerhouse football program from Central PA. In the crazy Covid 2020 season, they went undefeated going 6-0. Unfortunately, they did not make the cut to play in the playoffs. The players who were on last year’s roster will come back hungry and determined to make the playoffs this upcoming season. Bishop McDevitt always has very talented players, and we take a look at their 2021 roster.
<strong> </strong>
<strong>QB: </strong>With [player_tooltip player_id="27516" first="Lek" last="Powell"], the starter from the past 2 years now gone, it is unclear who will be the signal-caller for the 2021 season.
<strong> </strong>
<strong>RB: [player_tooltip player_id="27732" first="Marquese" last="Williams"] </strong>5’10 185; 2023
Marquese is our number 1 ranked running back in his class and has been featured many times. He already holds quite a few Power 5 offers. He is quick with speed. He should continue to dominate these next couple years.

<strong style="font-size: 1rem;">RB: Cyncir Bowers </strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;">5’11 175; 2023</span>
Cyncir shows good vision with quickness and good speed. He is also not afraid of contact. He can catch out of the backfield as well. Look for that 1-2 punch with him and Marquese these next couple years.

<strong>WR</strong>: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27597" first="Kamil" last="Foster"]</strong> 6’0 190; 2022
Kamil is our 40th overall ranked player and has been featured a few times. He’s got good ball skills who runs good routes He had 35 receptions for almost 500 yards and 6 touchdowns last season. He has quite a few FBS offers, his latest one coming Mid-March from Marshall.

<strong>WR: Jeffrey Penn</strong> 6’3 185; 2023
Jeffrey only has 1 clip from his sophomore year, and it is JV. He does have the size. He shows good release and burst off the line of scrimmage and showed to sink his hips. Jeffrey is a guy to watch this year and will be a big target for whoever is playing QB.

<strong>OL:</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27745" first="Gabriel" last="Arena"]</strong> 6’5 275; 2023
Gabriel is our number 1 ranked offensive lineman in his class and has been featured multiple times and will be featured in many more articles to come these next couple of years. I can’t get enough how impressed I am by his pass protection as a young player. The sky is the limit for this kid.

<strong>OL: [player_tooltip player_id="27750" first="Kameron" last="Zaengle"] </strong>6’1 250; 2023
Kameron is our 46th overall ranked player in his class. He has some tools to be an FBS player but just needs to grow and continue to develop. This is a very important year for him because his stock may rise or fall due to size.

<strong>LB: [player_tooltip player_id="66047" first="Kade" last="Werner"] </strong>5’11 180; 2023
Kade is our 34th overall ranked player and has been featured a couple of times. He is a high motor kid who plays with a ton of effort. He had 41 total tackles, 21 solo with 4.5 sacks last year on a shortened season. Can’t wait to see what he does with a full season. Kade should be an FBS player.

<strong>DB:</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27593" first="Mario" last="Easterly"]</strong> 6’0 190; 2022
Mario is our 12th ranked overall player in his class and has also been featured multiple times and should expect more to come as the year goes on and as the season starts. He plays receiver and safety, but we believe he is better suited as a safety. He is a physical kid who can be a hard hitter. His recruiting has picked up since the new year started and has received a handful of offers and more. He has yet to receive a Power 5 offer, but I believe once he gets that first one more should come.

<strong>DB: [player_tooltip player_id="91629" first="Ty" last="Kephart"] </strong>5’10 175; 2024
Ty is our 2nd ranked DB in his class. He really impressed me as a freshman. He has good instincts who is physical and a good tackler. With him and Mario in the backend, they should really dominate. Ty is to be believed an FBS player and cannot wait to see how he improved from last season.
