Offensive Lineman from 7A District 1 To Watch This Season

<div id="contentsContainer" class="style-scope qowt-page"> <div id="contents" class="style-scope qowt-page"> <p id="E9" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong><em><span id="E10" class="qowt-font1-Arial">W</span><span id="E11" class="qowt-font1-Arial">ith the 2021 season inching closer, I’m spotlighting Offensive Linemen prospects from every classification/District in Florida. </span><span id="E12" class="qowt-font1-Arial">Today</span><span id="E13" class="qowt-font1-Arial"> we look at prospects from North Florida 7A District 1. </span><span id="E14" class="qowt-font1-Arial">There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level. </span><span id="E15" class="qowt-font1-Arial">Big time players are spotlighted below!</span></em></strong></span></p> &nbsp; &nbsp; <p id="E18" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><em><strong><span id="E19" class="qowt-font1-Arial">[player_tooltip player_id="128604" first="Ethan" last="Newman"]- Navarre High c/o 23</span></strong></em></p> <p id="E20" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><em><strong><span id="E21" class="qowt-font1-Arial">6’3 265lbs</span></strong></em></p> <p id="E22" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span id="E23" class="qowt-font1-Arial">Newman is a very versatile offensive lineman, on film he lines up at both guard and Tackle and shows a very good ability to play both. What I like most about Newman is how he finishes his blocks, he shows nastiness and fight as a run blocker, he looks to have good upper body strength and is agile and light on his feet. He’s very good off the snap getting his hands inside and playing with quickness and power, has a nasty streak that you want to see in an offensive lineman. He has over 25 offers including offers from power 5 schools such as Penn State, Virginia, Florida State, and Tennessee to name a few. He also shows pretty good pass pro ability in mirroring defenders. He has a good frame and would easily be able to add more weight at the next level, very quick and athletic for an offensive lineman, comes out low off the snap, is very quick out of his stance, and plays with a mean streak and is a very physical blocker.
