No. 5 [player_tooltip player_id="27999" first="Devion" last="Sheppard"]/6-4/215/West Side (previously No. 5)
Style: Pro-Style
Sheppard completed 48-out-of-72 passes for 1,062 yards, 11 touchdowns, and two interceptions during the 2020 season. Sheppard has an offer from Buffalo. He can make all the throws and is a pocket-passer first. If he’s able to throw in front of a few college coaches this summer, Sheppard should pick up a few more offers.
No. 4 [player_tooltip player_id="27971" first="Donovan" last="Leary"]/6-2/190/Timber Creek (previously No. 3)
Style: Pro-Style
Leary completed 108-of-185 passes for 1,389 yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions during the 2020 season. He posted five games of 200-plus yards. Leary committed to Illinois on Mar. 29, 2021. Leary is calm and collected in the pocket. He shows skilled touch and timing with his passes and can make all the throws. Leary doesn’t lock onto one receiver, he scans the field.
No. 3 [player_tooltip player_id="27962" first="Peter" last="Delaportas"]/6-4/205/Pope John XXIII (previously No. 1)

Delaportas committed to Boston College on Sep. 8, 2020. Delaportas had a rough season. He completed 45-out-of-81 passes for 375 yards, two touchdowns, and five interceptions in seven games last season. The players in front of him had better junior year seasons, and that’s why Delaportas dropped a little in the rankings. We love the way he operates in the short-to-medium passing game. Delaportas isn’t looking to run first, but can use his legs to move the chains if needed.
No. 2 [player_tooltip player_id="27973" first="Devin" last="Kargman"]/6-3/220/Woodrow Wilson (previously No. 4)
Style: Pro-Style
Kargman broke out in a major way during his sophomore year as he passed for 3,757 yards and 44 touchdowns in 12 games. His junior year season short a little because of COVID-19. Kargman completed 108-out-of-185 passes for 1,389 yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions. If he’s able to play a full season of games in 2021, he has a great shot of throwing for over 3,000 yards again. His pre-snap reads enable him to exploit holes in the defense’s pass coverage. Kargman has great timing with his passes and throws the football to a spot with pin-point accuracy.

While he may not have the yardage numbers as a runner, Angeli is very mobile in the pocket. He’s a pocket passer, but he’s also to make those throws while rolling out in either direction.
