The 2020-21 season has been unlike anything high school athletes have experienced in the past. For the seniors, the end of their high school careers came by way of a shortened season with limited fans, if any at all.

One skills development and weight training program that some of the state’s top athletes have been working with is Channel.4, which is run by Coach Greg Thomas. In addition to running Channel.4, Coach Thomas is also the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach for Team Full Gorilla, one of Colorado’s premier 7-on-7 national club teams.
Coach Thomas and Channel.4 have worked with a number of Colorado’s top prospects, such as Kole Taylor (LSU TE), [player_tooltip player_id="22520" first="Terrance" last="Ferguson"] (Oregon TE), [player_tooltip player_id="22533" first="Luke" last="McAllister"] (CSU QB), and [player_tooltip player_id="22538" first="Seyi" last="Oladipo"] (Boise St. DB) to name a few. Now, Coach Thomas is working with players like recent CSU Pueblo commit Robert Martinez-Chavez, Grandview’s [player_tooltip player_id="22732" first="Kahden" last="Rullo"] (2022 DB), Chaparral’s [player_tooltip player_id="44641" first="Keenan" last="Stokes"] (2022 LB/SS), and Pomona’s [player_tooltip player_id="22702" first="Dominick" last="Nichols"] (2022 RB/DB).

He also returned a punt, an interception, and a fumble recovery for touchdowns. He covers the field well and possesses the physicality to disrupt plays. Rullo’s high football IQ and athleticism make him a top-tier playmaker.
Stokes is a 6-foot-3 player with great size, quick feet, and good eyes. He completed his junior season with a total of 33 tackles, one sack, two pass deflections, and a fumble recovery. Overland’s [player_tooltip player_id="22761" first="Ismael" last="Cisse"] (2023 WR/DB) has been getting extra work with Channel.4 during the offseason as well. Cisse had 33 catches for 516 yards and three touchdowns during his freshman and sophomore seasons.

His junior season ended with him rushing a total of 26 times for 218 yards and two touchdowns, along with four receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Nichols had 17 total tackles, two pass breakups, one interception, and one fumble recovery. He is a tough runner with great speed and excellent vision, which is how he racked up 233 punt return yards and one touchdown.
In addition to working with high school athletes, Channel.4 also works with the state’s future high school stars. Micah Fleming (2027 CB) is arguably the number one ranked 13U defensive back in the country. Earlier this year, Fleming received an official offer from the University of Southern California. The 5280 Jr. Buffalo is one of a few young athletes that turn to Channel.4 for extra work during the offseason.
