Mekhi Holmes, QB, 6-3, 180, Class of 2022, Hazelwood East

For the season, Holmes completed 52 percent of his passes for 494 yards, with four touchdowns against four interceptions, and rushed for 136 yards and two scores.

Hill didn’t put up huge numbers but found the end zone twice in the Spartans’ win over Lift for Life, something he’s done quite a bit during his high school career, and also showed off his versatility.
Hill rushed for 26 yards and a touchdown on eight carries, caught four passes for 43 yards and a score and racked up nine tackles. In four games this spring, Hill rushed for 214 yards and five touchdowns, caught 11 passes for 108 yards and a touchdown, scored on five two-point conversions and racked up 33 tackles, which ranked second among the Spartans.
Hill has scored 22 touchdowns in his first three varsity seasons, including 12 as a sophomore.
