If you have taken notice over the past few years, the state of Florida has become a place to come for many positions during the recruiting cycle.
Receivers, defensive backs and running backs have always been plentiful, but there is another position that has also made the Sunshine State a popular destination.
Whether it's inside, middle our outside, the linebacker position has become somewhat of a commodity for college coaches to check out – and the Class of 2023 is certainly no exception.
College coaches, while they still cannot make contact or watch up close, seem to be looking in the direction of several linebackers – as they grow and mature into impressive prospects.
Today, we bring you five more quality football talent from this 2023 class that will have all spring and into the summer to showcase their many skills and prove they belong among the best in Florida for the ranking and position.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="128019" first="Troy" last="Bowles"], LB, 6-2, 200, Tampa Jesuit</strong><strong>. </strong>When your father happens to be a longtime football coach and coordinator in the NFL, you tend to learn and pick up some new things that will enhance your game. The son of Todd Bowles, who has served as the Tampa Bay Bucs DC among other positions, has been the talk of the off-season – with some quality camp and combine showing, along with his resume from a very productive sophomore season. Big-time athletes who has the size, athleticism and skill to play this position at the next level. He has two full years to continue developing into a major prospect, which he will become.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="128026" first="Andrew" last="Harris"], LB, 6-2, 195, Altamonte Springs Lake Brantley</strong><strong>. </strong>Along with his brother, here is a tremendous football talent who has blown up in a big way this off-season. An outstanding playmaker, who has shown that he can make plays all over the field – with quickness, agility and knowledge of the game. This is a football talent who not only plays this game on instinct, but also works extremely hard to get better. College coaches from all over already know how this gifted this young man is.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="128050" first="Grayson" last="Howard"], OLB, 6-3, 200, Jacksonville Andrew Jackson</strong><strong>. </strong>Back as far as last summer, here is a gifted football player who showed that he has the chance to be as special as anyone. After a huge sophomore season, where he was one of the best players in the First Coast region, his off-season has watched his stock continue to rise. He brings so much to the game, and that's what college coaches love about him. Has the size and quickness to continue progressing and becoming one of the best nationally.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="128053" first="Larry" last="Jones"], LB, 6-2, 240, Lakeland</strong><strong>. </strong>Another football prospect that we watched last year and saw so much raw ability. Now, as he continues to mature and grow into one of the best for the class, he is showcasing skills as an outside linebacker as well as a defensive end, who not only gets after the quarterback, but also plays the run very well. The Dreadnaught really have something special in this young man who only enhances an already dominating defense. Has an opportunity to start getting national attention this season.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="128039" first="Jaden" last="Robinson"], OLB, 6-2, 210, Lake City Columbia. </strong>After a tremendous sophomore season, this talented prospect is no longer a huge secret. College coaches from all over are starting to watch a quality young man who can play this game at a high level. Fast, smart, athletic and very passionate are combinations that will all add up to something special in the coming months. Those coaches and players who lined up against him this past season were complimentary about all the things he can do.
