Offensive Spotlight
Logan Hubler Logan Hubler 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek) | 2022 State AZ , QB, 6’2″ 160lbs, ALA-Queen Creek ’22
Film: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11116123/Logan-Hubler
Hubler was a big time playmaker for ALA-Queen Creek this past season, and certainly made a name for himself across the state. He racked up over 3,000 total yards with 38 TD’s, 9 of those coming on the ground. He sizes up with a slender build with room to put on weight. He’s a dual-threat QB with a high ceiling and will only continue to get better. He displays smooth pocket mechanics when he stays in the pocket, but he does like to scramble and looks comfortable throwing on the move. He does an excellent job extending plays and turning sacks into first downs either on his feet or by finding receivers downfield. He had numerous big runs last season and has solid top end speed. Hubler has showcased excellent placement on various throws with the ability to throw receivers open. He has a solid trajectory and touch on deep balls to make it easier on receivers. My favorite throw on his film is around the 2:47 mark where drops a dime on a vert in between the CB and FS for a TD. He’s shown the ability to hit throws in tight windows with velocity when he wants to rip it. He projects to have a huge senior season and rise his stock dramatically.

Defensive Spotlight
Steven Kennedy Steven Kennedy 6'1" | 225 lbs | DL Perry | 2022 State AZ , DL, 6’2″ 260lbs, Perry HS ’22
Film: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11262262/Steven-Kennedy-jr
Kennedy may have limited film from the 2020 season, but this offseason, he has been putting in a tremendous amount of work and looks to be developing nicely. He sizes up with a good, thick frame and has continued to build his strength. He already has solid functional strength, as he’s shown the ability to knock back and overpower offensive linemen. He did a good job overall pursuing ball carriers downfield and not giving up on plays. He was awarded “1st Team All-Region” and holds a 3.0 GPA. With his strength and build, Kennedy could be a sleeper heading into the 2021 season, and has position versatility along the DL as we’ve also seen him line up as a stand up edge rusher. Don’t underestimate his quickness, as he has flashed the ability to get a solid initial ball get off and shoot through gaps with balance. He definitely translates that weight room strength to the field, and projects to have a big role on the Perry defense next season.
Grateful to be selected as a All Region 1st Team player. 🏈🔥🙏🏿 pic.twitter.com/sy5D4AWvaP
