As the spring recruiting season starts to heat up, here’s a look into four players who have recently picked up their first collegiate offers.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="87383" first="Cooper" last="Carlson"], OL, Olympia – Montana Tech 6’4” 295</strong>
Ideal size for a college level offensive lineman at 6’4” 295 lbs. In the run game, he comes hard off the ball and explodes at the POA. Does a good job sticking to his blocks, driving his legs through contact, and until the whistle. He showed good mobility with his ability to work to the second level and effectively block in space. Plus strength, he can over power defenders and also anchor down to stop an oncoming rush. Gets into his pass set quickly and shows a good understanding of where pressure will come from. Offered by Montana Tech and has a great skillset to build on.

Carter is an explosive playmaker with a good long frame to build on. A plus athlete that has great burst/acceleration and change of direction. His versatility and natural instincts for the game allow him to play all over the field and impact the game in a variety of ways. He’s a creative and savvy player who’s skillset will transition well to the college level. Picked up his first two offers on the same day from Eastern Washington and Idaho State. Expect many more to come his way.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="87389" first="Jordan" last="Dwyer"], WR, Puyallup – Idaho St.</strong>
Holds a good combination of natural ability and strong fundamentals/technique. He’s a plus route runner that is smooth in and out of his breaks and does a good job setting up his routes to gain positional leverage. Great release off the LOS, flashes quick feet and a good drive/burst into his route. Vertical threat that can slip behind the defense with speed or time out his jump to come down with contested catches. Idaho State came in offering him on April 19<sup>th</sup>.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="87337" first="Andrew" last="Tillett"], DL, Sumner – Idaho St. 6’3 290 lbs.</strong>
Tillet has great size for an interior defensive lineman at 6’3” 290 lbs. Explosive first step off the LOS with good leverage to quickly gain penetration. He’s extremely strong and powerful at the POA, consistently shows the ability to bench press blockers off of him. Great hand usage and placement, he shows good command and quickness in various moves/techniques. Plays with an aggressive and always attacking attitude. Picked up his first offer from Idaho St. but his recruitment is just getting started.
