Oceanside tight end and wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id="25129" first="Kamron" last="Beachem"] announced his commitment to Fresno State Tuesday. The 6-foot-6, 245-pound athlete previously committed to Arizona State, but reopened his recruitment in January. He caught 34 passes for 551 yards and 3 touchdowns as a junior in 2019. He is one of a handful of players in Fresno State’s 2021 recruiting class who was previously committed to a Power 5 school. Nevada is the sixth school to offer the 6-foot-3, 215-pound outside linebacker. He had 57 tackles, eight sacks and a forced fumble as a sophomore last season. Chesney, a five-star long snapper according to long snapping guru Chris Rubio, received recruiting cards from Missouri and Oregon State and got the Army offer on Monday. Herr transferred to Mission Viejo from Trabuco Hills where he had a nice sophomore season for the Mustangs. He was relegated to the junior varsity team last season due to transfer rules, but had a tackle in the Diablo’s season-opening win against Oak Hills.
