Underappreciated ’22 Offensive Lineman In The State

Michigan is a state that produces good lineman on both sides of the ball. I talk about a few offensive lineman from the class of 2022 who are getting overlooked. [player_tooltip player_id="80495" first="Breon" last="Key"] 6’4 290 OL ’22 Harper woods A violent offensive lineman who has also been showing out at camps. He can play tackle and guard but projects as a guard at the next level. He has a good punch and is a very good run blocker. Surprisingly still has no offers, something I think will change soon. [player_tooltip player_id="30197" first="Fayez" last="Al-Ziyadi"] 6’1 300 OL ’22 Fordson A very powerful offensive lineman who is great at driving his feet and taking defensive players to the sidelines or to the bus. He also has impressed this offseason showing his camp clips and weight lifting videos. He also has no offers but definitely should have some. [player_tooltip player_id="30170" first="Giuseppe" last="Gottfried"] 6’3 285 OL ’22 Saline A guard who helped Saline have a great season. He can do both in pass protect and run block and has great feet and delivers a good punch. He currently holds an offer from Air force and I wouldn’t be surprised if more service academies or the MAC came after him. [player_tooltip player_id="30274" first="Riley" last="Smalarz"] 6’2 295 OL ’22 Dakota A guard who plays for a talented Dakota team which plays top competition each week. He did more then just hold his ground, he dominated. He is also having an impressive offseason showing out at camps and in the weight room. He might get overlooked by his size but definitely deserves his first offer. [player_tooltip player_id="80494" first="Dayne" last="Arnett"] 6’5 240 OL ’22 Grand Haven A very versatile player who gets off the ball well and can move. He is a good run blocker who plays aggressively and can play either side at the next level. He plays guard at his school due to them having a Michigan state commit at tackle but he has the length to play tackle at the next level. He currently holds an offer from Central Michigan but I wouldn’t be surprised if more teams from the MAC came after him.
