There are some good prospects and several sleeper prospects that should all be getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Cole Highsmith, SS- Plant City High c/o 23
5’11 180lbs
Highsmith is a nice Junior prospect that started as a sophomore last year for Plant City, he registered 46 tackles, five sacks, four QB hurries, and three passes defensed. He’s a very active and aggressive player, he hunts and punishes ball carriers showing good pad level and drives through them to finish. He has good range at the strong safety position and shows the ability to recover with acceleration and speed. He’s definitely one to watch this season.
Ian Jolly, FS- Plant City High
6’1 180lbs
Jolly forms probably the best safety tandem in Tampa Bay with Highsmith, he had 43 tackles and two passes defensed last season. He’s a nice athletic free safety that is instinctive and trusts his eyes, he’s athletic enough that he also plays corner and shows high-level ability at that position. At the safety position he reads quarterbacks and will attack underneath routes, closes on the ball quickly and finishes tackles. He’s getting interest from some Division 1 schools right now like East Carolina and Middle Tennessee State.

Darius Moore, FS- Leto High
6’2 170lbs
Moore is a very good sleeper Prospect from Leto High, he’s got length and speed, runs a 4.66 40 yard dash. He’s an excellent center field safety Prospect that tracks the ball well, he’s very instinctive with the ball in the air shows the ability to change direction and accelerate to ball, he also has the ability to punch through the receiver and dislodge the ball. He had a very good season with 26 tackles one interception and 9 passes defensed. He is a good prospect that should be getting way more looks than what he has.

Jaiden Gappy, SS- Durant High
5’10 180lbs
Gappy is a nice in the box strong safety that plays downhill and accelerates to the football. He plays like a linebacker, diagnosis plays quickly and attacks, he also shows the ability to play Zone coverage, he has the agility to flip his hips and easily turn and redirect in his transition. He’s also a very good special teams player, made a lot of tackles on kickoff, also blocked two punts this season. He’s a do-it-all player, he had a knee injury and hopefully we’ll be able to return this season at some point.
