It’s that time of the week again! Let’s take a look at the best film we’ve had sent in to our DM’s this week.
Joe Koury | OL | Madison Central
Koury has an opportunity to be one of the top OL recruits in the class of 2024. With years left to develop, the Madison Central Freshman already stands at 6"1, 270lbs. The combine numbers for Koury are eye popping as the power lifter is already benching 330lbs and squatting 600+, and that is with years left to develop on the field. The testing numbers speak for themself, but the film is fairly impressive already as well. Koury has an OG build currently and plays with the rough edge you like out of your offensive linemen. The youngster has good freedom of movement and doesn’t show much tightness. Koury comes off the ball at a good level and shows easy capability of moving defenders. Long way to go development wise here but humungous potential is there for the Jaguar Freshman.
<a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/brawner-cregeen-2/">[player_tooltip player_id="124000" first="Brawner" last="Cregeen"]</a> | QB | Corinth
The 2023 QB prospect from North Mississippi is a very interesting one due to the offense he is playing in. Corinth is known in that part of the state for playing with a lot of wishbone schemes, but even with that Cregeen has shown off impressive arm skills at the QB position. Cregeen completed nearly 60 % of his passes as a Sophomore in a run heavy offense. The Corinth prospect shows good strength and above average accuracy, but his most impressive feature is with the feet. Cregeen shows great pocket awareness and a natural feel for what is happening around him. Ability to move within the pocket, or move the pocket in general is present and is highly impressive for his age. Technique is extremely sound from top to bottom. This camp/combine season will be huge for Cregeen as he has an opportunity to make throws in front of scouts and coaches.
<a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/dillon-crowell/">[player_tooltip player_id="124009" first="Dillon" last="Crowell"]</a> | LB | Hattiesburg
Crowell is without a doubt a sleeper guy at LB that could blow up in the future. The 2022 prospect sniffs out plays as well as any LB prospect in the state this go around. Frame wise he lacks some size but it appears there is an opportunity to bulk up some over the next year. Physicality oozes out of Crowell as he takes on and wins battles thru contact. Good body control and lateral movement. At his best as an attacker of the run game. The two sport star, who also excels on the baseball diamond, should have an opportunity to stick to the football field moving forward come signing day.
