Get the popcorn ready, the playmakers are here. These guys we highlighted today put on a show for many in attendance in Houston for the Pylon 7 on 7 event. There were definitely some big-time names were in attendance and some guys who proved to be under the radar athletes. We take a look at both and see who the playmakers were on the field this past weekend. Here at Prepredzone for some of our new subscribers, our mission is simple -- to cover as many prospects as possible. We bring a spotlight to those who deserve it. Not just division I guys but all college eligible prospects. Here are a few guys to keep an eye out for this 7 on 7 season and some who could make a big splash next season.
<em><strong><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Standouts</span></strong></em>
<hr />
<strong>Rueben Owens</strong> (23)| 5-11 RB | El Campo
Rueben is a threat anywhere--- and he showed why he is one of the best running back in the nation in his class. This guy can do it all and is built like a full-grown man at such a young age. This recent Texas commit, joined [player_tooltip player_id="60692" first="Jaydon" last="Blue"] (below) to pair up as one of the most dynamic duos in the backfield for the longhorns that I am sure we will be talking about for a very long time to come. The future of the longhorn's backfield should prove to be one of the best in the entire country.

[player_tooltip player_id="60692" first="Jaydon" last="Blue"] (22) | 5-11 RB | Klein Cain
Lateral speed and agility--- the split change of direction, are just some of the things that make Jaydon special. Extremely impressively build. You can tell this guy spends a lot of time in the weight room grinding to be the best. Others simply could not hang with Jaydon and he would high point a ball and snatch it over a defender's head or simply gas them downfield. Jaydon and Rueben are the future of Texas and the Longhorns. They may even be bringing many others with them. Both of these two should have a high ceiling of production in college and probably even be NFL prospects in a few years.

[player_tooltip player_id="60726" first="Jaylon" last="Guilbeau"] (22) | 5-11 DB | Memorial
One of the best athletes on the field every time --period. Another super-talented Texas commit who pairs his size and athleticism very well and is a deadly combination most cannot handle. Jaylon showed his dangerous speed and route-running ability and was shut down on defense all tournament long. Look for Jaylon and the other Texas commits on team fast 7v7 to put on a show everywhere they go this 7 on 7 season and stay tuned on who else they bring on board to the Longhorns.

<strong>Chris Marshall</strong> (22) | 6-3 WR | Fort Bend Marshall
Chris is one of the fiercest and passionate receivers on the field. A true competitor that wants to beat his opponent every time. He shows impressive burst and acceleration. Explosive playmaking ability in the open field and end zone.
<img class="alignnone wp-image-115319" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2021/03/File_000-6-225x300.jpeg" alt="" width="243" height="324" />
Both Texas A&M and the Longhorns are after Chris, as well as USC and many others including the Oregon Ducks. It should be interesting to see what Coach Steven Sarkisian and staff put together. It's definitely been a long list of top prospects and many of them from Texas.

<strong>Noah Thomas</strong> (22) | 6-5 WR | Clear Springs HS
Noah's size is second to none out there on the field. His size paired with his big-time playmaking ability on the field is what made him one of the best receivers in the aggies and Coach Jimbo Fisher recruiting class. Should be very special out on the gridiron for a very long time to come.
Committed to the aggies in February. Chose them over Baylor, Houston, Cal, and many others.18 total offers.
[player_tooltip player_id="60708" first="Jordan" last="Hudson"] (22) | 6-1 WR| Garland
Jordan is always the coolest in the building and one of the best receivers out on the field. He has one of the best burst and acceleration of the line of scrimmage. That paired with his size, vertical ability to go get the ball at its apex is what makes him special. He has tremendous awareness of the field and the end zone and can rack up plenty of touchdowns. He beats defenders because of his size and athleticism. No one I have seen this 7 on 7 season has impressed me more at the receiver position. The Sooners got them self's a good one out of Garland.

[player_tooltip player_id="60734" first="Phaizon" last="Wilson"] (22) | 6-4 WR | Lancaster
Lined up on the opposite side of Jordan was Phaizon. A deadly combo most could not handle. Phaizon has a very long lean build and frame. He moves so well for his size and is very impressive running routes. No wonder he holds offers to schools like Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas, and many others.
[player_tooltip player_id="60893" first="Kaleb" last="Black"] (23) | 5-10 WR | Klein Oak
[player_tooltip player_id="60893" first="Kaleb" last="Black"] was in attendance as well and proved to be one of the best receivers in the tournament besides sitting out the second day after pulling a muscle. I got to meet him in person and he has a very. Kaleb is one of the most prominent receivers in his class to come out of the Houston area. He gets on top of corners quickly and flashes runaway speed. Holds offer to Houston, Kansas, and Tulsa.
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-115323" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2021/03/File_000-7-225x300.jpeg" alt="" width="225" height="300" />
[player_tooltip player_id="60720" first="Randy" last="Masters"] "Bobo" (22) | 6-1 WR | Shadow Creek
Holds offers from Cincinnati, Baylor, Arizona State, Arkansas, and many others. Bobo could go anywhere and the country he wanted to. He has elite speed and route-running ability. He is one of the best receivers on this list without a doubt. A long wingspan and long legs that help him build speed downfield are a dangerous combo for any DB to cover.
<strong>Jaydon Johnson</strong> (22) | 6-3 WR | Marshall HS
Jaydon has a great burst off the line of scrimmage and can fly down the field in a hurry. He has a very lean build and is a great NO.1 or 2 receivers you can line up on the outside and let your quarterback throw it up and let him go catch it. Which leads to his impressive vertical and high pointing ability. Second to none. Dangerous receiver. Holds offer to Houston, Marshall, Kansas and have interest from many others.

<strong>Ja’Koby Banks</strong> (23) | 5-11 ATH | Fort Bend Marshall
Ja'koby has elite speed and agility and shows impressive burst and acceleration. Great lean, athletic build. He can play quarterback and or wide receiver. I like him best at receiver because of his speed and ability to make big plays happen. Holds one offer from Marshall. Definitely, a name to keep an eye on for this 7 on 7 seasons.
https://twitter.com/LoboRecruits/status/1366106679725670400
<strong>Caleb Douglas</strong> (22) | 6-3 WR | Hightower
If you like a receiver that has speed, route-running ability, and size. This is the one for you. Caleb is a lengthy receiver with the room to add mass to his large frame. Dangerous in catch-and-run situations. Dangerous vertical--- gets off the line quickly and creates separation like no other. In speaking with him about his recruitment he said some key points, he is still open to different schools but wants to stay somewhere it is warm.

[player_tooltip player_id="60778" first="Jack" last="Curtis"] (22) | 6-4 WR/TE/DE | Highland Park
Jack has been on fire lately, ever since the first of the year and he started to impress and turn a lot of heads at the beginning of the 7 on 7 seasons. As I was like most, impressed by his sheer athleticism, route-running ability, hands, size, and speed. He has still continued to impress and put on a show every time he takes the field. This month has he's been on fire with offers from Columbia, Army, Air Force, and San Diego State.
<strong>Xavier Filsaime</strong> (24) | 5-11 WR | McKinney
A speedy receiver that can fly downfield in the blink of an eye. He shows he can be very springy in 50-50 situations and come down with the ball.
Kansas. Northern Arizona and Pittsburgh have all offered Xavier.

[player_tooltip player_id="60696" first="Donovan" last="Green"] (22) | 6-4 TE | Dickinson
Texas A&M commit proved why he is one of the best tight ends in the country and unboundedly the state. He played a big part in his team winning the tournament and racked up a bunch of receptions and was open all day like a 7/11. A terrific athlete who will go on to do some big things in college and might even have his name called on to play on Sundays.
<strong>Jaquaize Pettaway</strong> (23) | 5-11 WR | Langham Creek
One of the best receivers in his class of 2023 in the state of Texas. Definitely one of the fast. He is dangerous in the open field and has the fastest burst of the line of scrimmage probably of all the receivers on the list. The term speed kills, best describes this receiver. Shows he can rack up yards after the catch and take the ball all the way to the end zone.
<strong>Blake Youngblood</strong> (22) | 6-0 WR | Parish Episcopal
Great athlete and receiver every time he is on the field. Very smart and get open and find open spots as a receiver. He keeps working towards the ball and never stops running. Makes for a great target for a QB. Holds one offer from Georgetown

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><em><strong>Honorable Mentions</strong></em></span>
<hr />
<strong>Joshua McMillan</strong> (22) | 5-9 WR | Tompkins
Has a lot of interest in colleges like Colorado, Columbia, Harvard, and others. Great student-athlete in the classroom.
<strong>Javon Sorrell</strong> (22) | 6-3 WR | Beaumont Westbrook
Javon impressed a lot of people in attendance. Another with size and ability. Coaches don't sleep on this receiver, he's dangerous on the gridiron. He creates great separation and can leave a defender's ankles on the field.
<strong>Jahrid Hughes</strong> (23) | 6-3 WR / DB | Fossil Ridge HS
Extremely under the radar wideout who has skills right up there with some of the best on this list. I don't know why this guy is a big-time sleeper but he has terrific route-running ability and hands. I like him a lot at receiver, I think he is an FBS/FCS level prospect.
https://twitter.com/LoboRecruits/status/1365704118384361473
<strong>Kelemani Phillip Kailahi</strong> (22) | 6-4 TE/DE | North Catholic HS
Another severally underrated tight end that can move well for his size. I like his ability to get off the line of scrimmage and get downfield. I think his route running and footwork can use a little bit of work but the intangibles are there. He's a good kid and very humble when we spoke in person. Coaches take a look at the film, it never lies.
https://twitter.com/LoboRecruits/status/1365701671909789704
<strong>Amare Hill</strong> (22) | 6-2 WR/DB | Timber Creek HS
Another huge sleeper. I loved his size and his ability to be quick-footed on the line of scrimmage. He has a high ceiling as a route runner. Definitely, one to check out. He has the size at 6-2, very impressive fame, and wingspan. Long legs and builds speed as he runs down the field.
<strong>Jeremiah Batiste</strong> (23) | 5-11 RB | Poteet
A big-time playmaker on the field. He showed he can get open at will, be physically and go up and catch the ball.
