Nobody has to tell Palm Beach Central head coach Scottie Littles and his football team about 2020. They experienced a rough year – like so many other programs.
Playing just four (3-1) games this past season certainly didn’t help the Broncos and their many gifted athletes, who put together several playoff season – before this past year.
As some gifted talent moves on to the next level, it’s time for the Classes of 2022 and 2023 to give this program a boost as they aim to get back in the state playoff mix this coming season.
In coming up with three impressive wins over Coral Springs Taravella (46-0), Palm Beach Lakes (41-0) and longtime rival Wellington (26-7), there is plenty of optimism heading into spring.
CLASS OF 2022 HAS THE EXPERIENCE
With a number of seniors moving on – and a few talented underclassmen heading out to other schools, the Broncos will look to the rising senior class in 2022 for some experience and leadership.
Among the players who will be counted on this spring, summer and into the season include Nicholas Iannone (RB, 5-11, 185), Jhamari Pierre-Louis (CB/WR, 5-11, 175), Sheridan McDonald (CB, 6-0, 175), gifted Joseph Pennachio (LB, 6-0, 215) and Ka’Ron Young (CB, 5-11, 165).
UNDERCLASSMEN WILL BE THE GLUE
With so many talented Class of 2023 prospects just waiting their chance to help this program – the Broncos are anxious to see the progress made by talented players like quarterback Ahmad Haston (6-2, 180) and several other rising junior prospects.
Among those are Justin Bostic (DB/WR, 5-11, 170), Aldorson Estinvil (RB, 5-8, 170), Aramian Frazier (OLB, 5-10, 205), Keyshawn Johnson (LB, 6-1, 215), Jason Laloi (DB, 6-1, 185), Luby Maurice Jr. (WR, 6-1, 185), Augustus McKoy (DL/OL, 5-11, 255), Collin Romano (DL/OLB, 6-3, 205), Tre’Vonne Williams (DB, 5-8, 155), Javorian Wimberly (WR, 5-10, 160), Devin Wygant (RB, 5-8, 155) and Tyler Young (RB, 5-8, 160).
