As head coach Mike Granato and his West Orange football team look back at the 2020 season, there were some impressive things that this program took away from the experience.
Finishing 6-4, this is a program that had chance to accomplish some amazing things – with wins over Lake Mary (34-7), Windermere (62-0), state power Apopka (15-14), Ocoee (31-0) and Timber Creek (26-0) in the playoffs.
Even the losses were games that the Warriors had their chances. In setbacks to Orlando Boone (31-24), Lake Brantley (28-21), Orlando Jones (38-21) and the rematch with Apopka in the playoffs (18-9), this is a team that showed that they can stand toe-toe with anyone, and they more than showed it.
2022 PROSPECTS ARE TALENTED
With spring right around the corner, this is a team that will find out a lot about themselves – with a quality cast of rising seniors in the Class of 2022 that are ready for the challenge.
Among those quality prospects who are ready to lead include Christopher Dauphin (OL/DL, 6-3, 275), [player_tooltip player_id="50211" first="Jayden" last="Gibson"] (WR, 6-6, 185 – 2.907 GPA), Quentin Hatch (LB/SS, 6-1, 205 – 2.917 GPA), impressive quarterback Tyler Huff (6-2, 170 – 4.0 GPA), who also gets it done in the classroom.

PLENTY OF ATHLETES TO CHOOSE FROM IN 2023
