Houston Pylon 7-on-7 Top Quarterbacks

In this article:
Mabrey Mettauer (24) | 6-5 Pro-Style QB | The Woodlands HS Mabrey is so unbelievably talented and his size, combined with his arm strength, athleticism, and poise in the pocket. Make him one of the best quarterback prospects in his class. He is already receiving extreme amounts of attention from the media and from colleges. He recently received his first offer from Georgia Tech University and has had some interest from two other SEC schools, as well as others. His brother, McKade Mettauer, a 6-4 offensive linemen that plays for Cal Berkeley and there is some interest there on both sides as well. When speaking to Mabrey he also mentioned Utah, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M as schools showing interest in him. Coaches you never wanna be late to the party, make your offer instead of being the last trying to make the list. Mabrey should prove to be one of the best this coming up season.
Gage Roy Gage Roy 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Dallas Jesuit | 2022 State TX (22) | 6-2 QB | Dallas Jesuit Gage is always pinpoint when it comes to his accuracy. He is able to be surgical with the ball and find the end zone at will. Just about every time I have attended a 7 on 7 event this season Gage has to lead his team to a championship. Recently received an offer from the New Mexico Lobos last month on the 16th. Gage also holds an offer from Toledo and has interest from Cincinnati.D1 prospect. 6-2 Dual threat QB Alex Orji is delivering dimes out here on the field. Showing why he is a prominent prospect still uncommitted @AlexORJ1 pic.x.com/cXldaefQA1

Davi Belfort (25) | 5-11 Pro-style QB | Fort Lauderdale, FL I know this is Texas but I cannot not mention Davi Belford and his play at the tournament. Hands down one of the best young QBs in the nation. he was throwing dimes all tournament long playing with some elite players offensively in Texas commits RB- Jaydon Blue , DB- Jaylon Guilbeau Jaylon Guilbeau 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Memorial | 2022 State TX and WR - Chris Marshall as well as a wealth of other division one athletes on team Fast 7 on 7. Definitely a team to watch and bring the popcorn for.Gage Roy was surgical spreading the wealth to a bevy of playmakers in leading @Bullitt7v7 to the @Pylon7on7 🏆 in H-Town @GageRoy11 @BLAKEYOUNGY @Jackcurtis_10 @lukerossley @FootballRecruit pic.x.com/alvFgmg97P

BJ Higgins (22) | 6-1 Dual-threat QB | Franklin D Roosevelt HS Bj had a laxer of an arm. He can puts the most mustard on the ball than most Quarterbacks. He can easily throw the ball 50 plus yards and hit relievers down field. He is a pass-first QB but he can define in with the ball. Spear is adequate and can elude defenders in the pocket. Jake Sock (22) | 6-3 QB | Pearland HS Another strong-armed quarterback that can throw the ball down the field and split defenders and fit the ball into tight spaces. He throws well on the run and can throw a strike with out setting his feet. His footwork and timing throwing the ball are beautifully synchronized and in harmony. He doesn’t hold the ball longer than 4 seconds and is able to take what the defense gives him.Another one.... @DaviBelfort @Pylon7on7 @PrepRedzoneTX pic.x.com/jaJLkZRt6S

Brady Dever (23) | 6-1 QB | Fort Bend Christian Academy HS Brady is definitely a young QB to keep an eye out for this 7 on 7 seasons. He is starting to gain interest and turn a few heads. He played well all tournament long. I like Brady’s ability to move within the pocket and find open receivers downfield. He can tuck and run with the ball and shows he can be dangerous either on the ground or an aerial attack and absolutely touch defenses. I like his ability to also take a bit of throws and find the end comers of the end zone. https://twitter.com/BradyDever1/status/1336090202201346048 Logan Cundiff (24)| 6-1 QB | Fossil Ridge HS Logan is a extremely athletic quarterback and can turn on the jets and burn defenders downfield with his speed and agility. He shows he can move well within the pocket and roll out to either side and throw the ball downfield to find an open receiver. Kevin Henry-Jennings (22) | 6-1 QB| South Oak Cliff HS Kevin is one of the best gunslingers on this list and is probably under the radar because of his height. But this QB has a rifle of an arm and can fire the ball from different dexterities. I was so impressed when I watched his film and saw how quick his release is and how quickly the ball finds the receiver. Definitely an FBS level of a prospect. Roderick Harstfield Jr. (23) | 6-1 QB | Waxahachie HS Roderick has dangerous speed and can run over defenders. He builds speed down the field with his long strides, which can make defenders miss. He is proficient in the short to the intermediate passing game and can hit slants and the short route passes with pinpoint accuracy. Definitely, one to keep an eye on. Christopher Gilbert Jr. (23) | 6-0 QB | Tompkins HS Average height for a QB but has a terrific athletic build. He shows beautiful footwork and can sit back and deliver the ball down the field with ease. Also is a good runner. He shows elite speed on the field. His tape should be very impressive to watch next season. Keep an eye out for him this 7 on 7 season. Luke Wilson (22) | 6-4 QB | Lamar HS Luke is a tall length gun slinger that can sling the ball downfield. I’ve liked him every time I’ve seen him. He has the deep ball arm strength and nice touch on throws.
Dylan Garrett (22) | 6-5 QB | Lamar Consolidated HS Huge sleeper of a QB that is extremely under the radar. He showed great arm strength and accuracy throwing the ball. Hitting receivers in stride or splitting coverage, Garrett has excellent velocity on all of his throws. His height and size are great from the QB position and he can use his leverage to launch bombs down the field. He earned Offensive New Comer of the year last season according to the Houston Chronicles. Dylan threw for over 1,500 yards with 9 touchdowns and only 6 inceptions in 7 games. Pretty impressive, defiantly a name to know and watch out for next season.@TxPressure QB dropping bombs 💥 pic.x.com/52DiQvobK2
