Roll the recruiting clock back 30 years and the one position that was as impressive in 1991 as it is here in 2021 is receiver.
Look back at all the amazing receivers that have long used Florida as home base to showcase their speed, talent, athletic ability and skill level.
The receiver position has sent numerous prospects to college and the NFL.
As combines gets around the state and the southeast, there are many gifted football players who colleges, recruiting services and fan websites will see.
This year, the receiver position has so many quality pass-catchers – and the <strong><em>Under Armour</em></strong> stop in Miami proved that.
Among those on hand, who will definitely make an impact in the 2021 season. include prospects such as
the No. 1 rated 2023 receiver <strong>Brandon Inniss</strong> (Miami Gardens TRU Prep Academy), who is years beyond his age – on and off the field.
Inniss not only represents a talented and deep state of Florida, but also south Florida, which is home to hundreds of Division 1 level athletes each years.
Prospects such as gifted <strong>Jalen Brown</strong> (Miami Gulliver Prep), very popular <strong>Santana Fleming</strong> (Plantation American Heritage), versatile and very talented <strong>William Fowles</strong> (Miami Dade Christian), Miami Northwestern’s top pass catcher <strong>Andy Jean</strong>, rising standout <strong>A.J Jenkins</strong> (Coral Springs Coral Glades), Chaminade-Madonna standout <strong>Edwin Joseph</strong>, and two of the nation’s best in <strong>Nathaniel Joseph</strong> (Miami Edison) and athletic <strong>Hykeem Williams</strong> (Fort Lauderdale Stranahan).
As solid as they are in the 2023 Class, big time 2022 (rising senior) athletes are also quality. Game-changers like <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50184" first="Camden" last="Brown"]</strong> (Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas), impressive <strong>Bobby Golden</strong> and speedy <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="108642" first="Mike" last="Jackson"]</strong> (Miami Palmetto), dominating pass catcher <strong>Daverick Jenkins</strong> (Miami Northwestern), under-the-radar <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50194" first="Joseph" last="Kennerly"]</strong> (Deerfield Beach), play-making standout <strong>Jalen Rogers</strong> (Miami Northwestern), <strong>Jaylin Terzado</strong> (Hialeah Champagnat Catholic) and St. Thomas Aquinas tight end <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="111491" first="Mason" last="Taylor"]</strong>.
<strong>FLORIDA IS LOADED WITH PASS CATCHERS</strong>
Outside of south Florida, college coaches have been keeping busy – looking at Class of 2022 impact performers such as <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50010" first="Rian" last="Black"]</strong> from Rockledge, who has been on the map for three years, and Tampa Bay Tech tight end <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50018" first="Gregory" last="Gaines III"].</strong>
While everyone doesn’t attend every event and showcase, it doesn’t mean that they are not getting exposure. Through the course of a month, we put out close to 400 new players – with video, so they never get away from <strong><em>Prep Redzone Florida</em></strong> enhancing the recruiting experience.
Prospects such as <strong>Darion Domineck</strong> (Orange Park Fleming Island), <strong>Cedrick Hawkins</strong> (Cocoa), <strong>Vanderevius Jacobs</strong> (Vero Beach), and tight ends <strong>Wayne Peart</strong> (Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna) and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34029" first="Pearce" last="Spurlin"]</strong> (Santa Rosa Beach South Walton), who is one of the most coveted nationally. There is also Class of 2024 rising star <strong>Jaydon Williams</strong> from Bartow.
