There are some very good prospects and several sleeper prospects that should all be getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Logan Cook- Lake Mary c/o 24
6’0 165lbs
Cook is a nice slot receiver Prospect that is just going into his sophomore season. Last season as a freshman he had 13 catches for 118 yards, he has good height/length, he shows good short-area quickness, he’s smart and knows how to find the holes in coverages to get open, he is someone to get on your radar this season. I expect his production to double with more targets.
Al-Nour Yacoub- Lake Mary
6’2 215lbs
Yacoub plays tight end for Lake Mary and is a mismatch nightmare for linebackers because of his acceleration and athleticism. He’s a ferocious blocker on film and seems to relish contact. He has very good quickness and change-of-direction ability for his size, he can play H-Back at the next level or be a big slot. He has good hands and plucks the ball, Lake Mary lines him up all over the field to take advantage of the mismatch problems he causes, he’s a really good player and competitor. He had seven catches for 102 yards and one touchdown in only three games last season.

Alex Saunders- Oviedo High
6’4 190lbs
Saunders is everything you want in a big time outside receiver, he’s got height/length and speed to go with it running a 4.58 40. He’s a long and rangy receiver that produces on the field, he had 41 receptions for 625 yards and six touchdowns. He explodes off the line and eats up ground quickly on defensive backs, he’s a smooth route runner that shows a variety of moves to get off the line of scrimmage and create separation, has soft hands and a huge catch radius. I’m completely shocked he doesn’t have an offer yet, he’s better than a lot of the more highly rated receivers in the state. Coaches need to jump on him now because he will be a big-time player on Saturdays.

Caylim Gathers- Seminole High
6’3 180lbs
Gathers is it nice sleeper Prospect to keep an eye on this season, he has a nice athletic build and size/speed combo that colleges look for, he had 15 catches for 178 yards and a touchdown last season for Seminole High. Gathers has very good burst and acceleration off the line, is a natural hands catcher and high points the ball with ease, he shows good body control and a natural ability to adjust to the ball in the air. I think he’s going to have a big season this year and recruiting will explode for him.

Darren Lawrence- Seminole High c/o 23
6’2 190lbs
Lawrence is one of the best junior prospects in the state, he’s a physically gifted receiver that has a good combination of size, athleticism, and ball skills. Lawrence attacks the ball in the air, he’s dangerous after the catch showing playmaking ability, acceleration, and home-run hitting speed. He does a good job tracking the ball over his shoulder and consistently out jumps/fights defensive backs for the ball, he had 10 catches for 240 yards and three touchdowns this season. He currently has an offer from Florida Atlantic University.
