With our newly ranked update for the 2022 class, we have 20 players as athletes. We take a look at the athletes ranked 10 through 6.
10. [player_tooltip player_id="95282" first="Carson" last="Laconi"] (JR) 6’1 185 – North Catholic HS
Carson has good size. On defense, he is a hard hitter and a good tackler. He lacks speed and quickness but does show a closing burst. He shows good ball skills, ability to high point and catches with hands. He lacks explosiveness as a receiver. Believe he is a safety at the next level. Carson did receive his first FCS offer in late February.

9. [player_tooltip player_id="27647" first="Robert" last="Dickerson"] (JR) 6’0 185 – North Hills HS
Robert looks to be quicker than fast, does have good acceleration when tracking down the ball carrier on defense. On offense, he has a good release. Good route runner shows to sink hips. He has good ball skills and shows he can adjust to the ball. He shows he can block as well. Robert is a wide receiver at the next level and can make big-time plays. Believe Robert is an FBS player, but don’t believe he has the overall speed to be a Power 5 player.
8. [player_tooltip player_id="27653" first="DaQuan" last="Griffin"] (JR) 5’10 160 – Brashear HS
You can immediately see how quick DaQuan is. He seems to have good speed as well. On offense, he takes snaps at quarterback and receiver. On defense, he plays corner. He does show physicality who is also a willing blocker as a receiver. Offensively, he is not a big playmaker as you’d hope for his size, don’t see many RAC yards. Defensively, he needs to improve as a tackler. Average ball skills but does show to high point the ball. He does show good break and acceleration. He plays a lot of off coverage but does show to get his hands-on receiver in press. DaQuan is a good player he has an NAIA and a D-3 offer. He is also gaining some interest at the FCS and FBS level. He doesn’t have many defensive clips but would be intriguing enough for a school to invite him to a camp.
7. [player_tooltip player_id="27641" first="Terrell" last="Booth"] (JR) 6’0 175 – Serra Catholic
Terrell plays wide receiver and outside linebacker. He also occasionally lines up as the wildcat QB. He is better suited as a defensive player. He does show average ball skills, most of his catches are body catches. He is quick with good speed and does show quickness off the edge when rushing. He has a good closing burst. He shows physicality and is a good wrap-up tackler. His change of direction is average. Would like to see more coverage skills from him. Terrell is a guy that you would have to get to camp to see what defensive position is best suited for him.
6. [player_tooltip player_id="27683" first="Mike" last="Wells"] (JR) 6’3 200 – New Castle HS
Mike plays quarterback, wide receiver, and linebacker. Believe he is best suited as a linebacker. He’s got good size. He shows some quickness with good change of direction and speed. He is a good wrap-up tackler. He shows some bend when rushing off the edge. Does not have many clips at linebacker but would definitely recommend getting him to a camp. Believe he could be an FBS linebacker.
