Lincoln (San Diego) offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id="25181" first="Isaiah" last="World"] announced his commitment to the University of Nevada on Thursday.
World originally committed to Arizona State back in June but withdrew his commitment in January. On the date of his decommitment, a couple of recruiting analysts predicted that he would go to Nevada.
He is the No. 23 ranked offensive lineman in California’s 2021 class according to Prep Redzone and the No. 159 overall prospect.
World joins former Lincoln teammate Dazure Paggett at Nevada, who may have transferred back to Kearny High. He is the second offensive lineman from California in Nevada’s 20211 recruiting class with [player_tooltip player_id="25182" first="Andrew" last="Madrigal"] of Norco.
He is an excellent two-way lineman who Nevada sees as a tackle prospect.

Orange Lutheran star flips on signing day
[player_tooltip player_id="25080" first="Jason" last="White"], star offensive lineman from Orange Lutheran (Orange) flipped his commitment from Boise State to Oregon State on the late signing day last Wednesday.
White had been verbally committed to Boise State since October. He is the No. 8 ranked offensive lineman in the state according to Prep Redzone and the No. 58 prospect in the state.
He is 6-foot-4 and has gone from 260 pounds to 290 pounds according to reports. White is physical and has an 81 inch wing span which is normal for someone who is three or four inches taller than he is.
White told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that he is glad he didn’t sign with Boise State in December because its head coach Bryan Harsin left for Auburn shortly after and they brought in a new offensive line coach. When he opened his recruitment, Baylor, BYU and UNLV made hard pushes but he ultimately chose Oregon State.
"They were really loyal to me and that meant a lot. Michael Pitre was my main recruiter and I talked a lot with coach Jim Michalczik and I like those guys a lot," White said. "I really feel great and I’m excited to be in the Pac-12. I’ll be able to play against USC and UCLA every year and my family can come see me any time so it’s a great fit for sure."
Pitre has since departed Oregon State to take a coaching job with the Chicago Bears. He had Orange County connections, previously coaching at Servite and Santa Margarita, both Trinity League rivals of Orange Lutheran, and played his high school football at El Modena High, which is also in Orange.
White joins three other players from California in Oregon State’s recruiting class: Arnez Madison of Manual Arts (Los Angeles), [player_tooltip player_id="25061" first="Easton" last="Mascarenas"] of Mission Viejo and [player_tooltip player_id="25125" first="JT" last="Byrne"] of Carmel.

Mater Dei underclassman star commits
[player_tooltip player_id="25225" first="Raleek" last="Brown"] of Mater Dei (Santa Ana) verbally committed to Oklahoma on Friday.
Brown has been having a fantastic offseason in the camp circuit, being named the MVP of the National Preps Showcase in Santa Clarita in November. He is the top 2022 running back in California and the No. 3 overall prospect in the class according to Prep Redzone.
He transferred to Mater Dei from Edison of Stockton, where he rushed for 996 yards on just 95 carries with 16 touchdowns as a sophomore last season. He also had 667 yards receiving and 9 touchdowns for the Vikings.
Brown is undersized but his ability to make plays out of the backfield in the passing game makes him special. 247Sports compared him to Colts running back Nyheim Hines and he could also be a slot receiver type. He has elite speed and ran a 4.47 40-yard dash as a freshman. He is a one cut and go type running back who is dangerous in open space.
He will likely get the lion’s share of the carries for Mater Dei this season but will share some touches with their two other very good running backs [player_tooltip player_id="25281" first="Quincy" last="Craig"] and [player_tooltip player_id="25109" first="Marceese" last="Yetts"].

South Coast League sleeper lands late offer
Mission Viejo defensive back Brenndan Warady has received an invitation to play football by Idaho Monday.
Warady has flown under the radar because he plays with elite defensive players like [player_tooltip player_id="25061" first="Easton" last="Mascarenas"] and [player_tooltip player_id="25216" first="Ryder" last="Fitch"]. It is unclear if Idaho offered a scholarship or a preferred walk-on spot.
He was an outside linebacker for the Diablos last season and tallied 39 tackles and six pass deflections.
Warady is a sprinter on the track team at Mission Viejo and has been lifting weights with Saddleback Strength this offseason. He also has played in the Winner Circle Champions club league on a team called OC Elite. He has offers from Lake Erie College and Whittier College.
