The recruiting class of 2021 in California has had to deal with more obstacles than any group of young football players in recent history.
This week, Governor Gavin Newsom and health officials have talked with high school football coaches about a way to possibly get the players back on the field as early as March, which is exciting.
But Wednesday, student-athletes and their families got a chance to take a break from the stresses of the news and celebrate signing their letters of intent.
Here is a list of Inland Empire football players who signed their letters of intent on Wednesday, Feb, 3.
<strong>CENTENNIAL/CORONA</strong>
<a href="https://prepredzone.com/2020/09/southern-california-class-of-2021-sleepers-part-1/">Calvin Pitcher</a>, DB, Idaho State
Notes: Pitcher is a versatile athlete who is All-League in football and lacrosse. He excels at defending the run and would be a linebacker for a lot of high school teams but is a good sized safety at the college level. Could improve his coverage but he has the athleticism and work ethic to learn quickly and excel at Idaho State.

<strong>INDIAN SPRINGS</strong>
<strong>Joshua Jones</strong>, DB, Black Hills State
<hr />
<strong>KAISER</strong>
<strong>Trevian Tribble</strong>, QB, Weber State
Notes: Tribble has been an outstanding quarterback for Kaiser since his sophomore year with a 25-3 record, but Weber State sees him as a defensive back. He is remarkably athletic and has a knack for making big plays. He told media he loves the winning culture at Weber State and is excited to get on campus.

<strong>LOS OSOS</strong>
<strong>Aidan Clinton</strong>, LB, Clarke University
Notes: An inside linebacker who has a high football IQ and reads his guards well. Plays middle linebacker in a 4-3 defense at Los Osos but may work better as an outside backer at the next level. He is a little undersized but he is a sure tackler and can lay big hits.

<strong>PACIFIC</strong>
<strong>Andrew Rowland</strong>, WR, St. Mary’s
<hr />
<strong>RANCHO CUCAMONGA</strong>
<strong>Devin Collins</strong>, OL, Idaho State
[player_tooltip player_id="25174" first="Tristyn" last="Flores"], DB, Idaho
Notes: He had an interception that he returned 40 yards for a touchdown in a 42-28 win against Chino Hills last season and eight pass deflections. Flores is a good cover corner in man coverage and has very good closing speed when playing in zone.
<strong>Dominic Perez</strong>, OL, Redlands
<strong>Landon Toll</strong>, S, San Diego
<strong>Elijah Walsh</strong>, DB, Western New Mexico
<hr />
<strong>RANCHO CHRISTIAN</strong>
<strong>Blake Allen</strong>, ATH, Southwest Minnesota State
<hr />
<strong>RANCHO VERDE</strong>
<strong>Justin Honore</strong>, LB, Lake Erie College
<hr />
<strong>ROOSEVELT</strong>
<strong>Treverran Mack</strong>, DE, Southwest Minnesota State
[player_tooltip player_id="25141" first="Dayjiohn" last="Wheeler"], WR, Southwest Minnesota State
Notes: Big receiver at 6-foot-5 and around 225 pounds, but doesn’t rely on his size to get open. He has long strides and pretty good speed. Not the strongest receiver out there but he is hard to bring down and runs good routes. Wheeler had Division 1 offers but Southwest Minnesota State did a good job recruiting him.

<strong>UPLAND</strong>
<strong>Daniel Sosa</strong>, WR, Southwest Minnesota State
