It can be easy to overlook a few prospects who are some of the area’s best high school football athletes. It is our mission here at PrepRedzone to cover as many players as possible. We are here to give those a spotlight that would not normally get recognized on some other websites that only highlight division I football talent. We give those others an opportunity to succeed in their football and academic careers. Let’s check out who made the list.
Bladen Fike Bladen Fike 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Fayetteville | 2022 State AR ( 22 ) | 6-2 QB | Fayetteville HS
Bladen played 9 games this past season, completed 98 out of 189 passes throwing for 1,779 yards, 15 touchdowns, and only 6 interceptions in the 2020 season. The Fayetteville roster is loaded and it starts with none other than Bladen as the leader at QB. He has tremendous arm strength, velocity, and decent speed for a quarterback. This is a guy who can make all the throws look routine.
Luke Buchanan ( 23 ) | 6-0 QB | Fayetteville HS
The QB depth chart is loaded for Fayetteville. Luke is a little undersized but he can make impressive throws on the run or facing pressure in the pocket. I think he will continue to improve and grow and be a well-known name for years to come.
Kaiden Turner Kaiden Turner 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Fayetteville | 2022 State AR ( 22 ) | 6-1 ML / OLB | Fayetteville HS
Kaiden has had a tremendous career so far with 72 asst., 156 total tackles, 11 sacks, 3 ints, and 3 TFLs. He is a beast, to say the least. Great size and athleticism. He can burst into the backfield in the blink of an eye and make a play in the backfield. Speed is great and shows in his pursuit of the ball. He also shows he can shed blocks and read plays well. FBS/FCS type of prospect that holds multiple Division I offers.
In 9 games I had
70 tackles
35 solo
6 sacks
3 INT
12 TFL
7 QB hurries
6 total TD’s (1 defensive, 1 special teams, 4 rushing) https://t.co/NDZJuyb68O— Kaiden Turner (@Thekaidenturner) December 18, 2020
Owen McCone ( 22 ) | 6-2 DB/ WR| Fayetteville HS
Two-sport athlete. Plays baseball as well as football. Has tremendous size and athleticism for a defensive back. Plays well on both sides of the ball. Great speed and very physical.
Isaiah Sategna Isaiah Sategna 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2022 State AR ( 22 ) | 5-11 WR | Fayetteville HS
FBS type of prospect with offers to the University of Arkansas, Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, Houston, and others. Career stats are 1353 yards, with 72 catches, 8 touchdowns, and will be a three-year starter.
2022 wide receiver Isaiah Sategna (@isaiahsategna1) has a future on the football field as well as the track, and the Aggies are in hot pursuit (Premium): https://t.co/xE1LToLbMF

Dylan Kittell ( 22 ) | 5-10 WR | Fayetteville HS
Underrated player due to his size. Slot type of receiver, with quickness, agility, and good hands. Route running could use improvement, but I think he could be a good division II prospect.
Jalen Blackburn Jalen Blackburn 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2022 State AR ( 22 ) | 6-2 TE / WR | Fayetteville HS
I like Jalen’s size and speed. They use him a lot at the slot position or as a NO. 2 receiver. His speed and size are a dangerous matchup for any defense. Route running ability needs improvement, but his speed and agility help get him open. I think he still has room to grow and will be a good prospect.
Cooper Gardenhire (23) | 5-10 MLB | Farmington HS
10 games played 17 solo tackles, 45 asst, 62 total tackles, and 1 tackle for loss. I like Cooper’s style of play and physicality. He shows he can disengage from blockers, and make a play for a tackle for loss or get after the QB. He has good speed and size, I think he will continue to grow and get better. Played very well for only being a sophomore, definitely a name to know.
Landon Phipps Landon Phipps 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Springdale | 2022 State AR ( 22 ) | 6-0 QB / WR | Springdale HS
Dual-threat QB with great athleticism and throwing arm. 10 games played, 100 completions out of 163 attempts, with 1,365 yards and 6 touchdowns. Also adding 561 yards on the ground, 15 touchdowns rushing on 152 carriers. Best athlete / QB on the list. He has dangerous speed and a live arm that can reach receivers in stride, thirty to forty yards down the field, and make it look easy. He can play all over the field as well, defense and special teams as well as QB.
Ta’jon Sparks ( 23 ) | 5-10 DB / WR | Springdale HS
29 solo tackles, 13 asst., 42 total tackles last season. One of the fastest athletes on the list, this kid can fly. Special teams player, good receiver, and DB. I like his athleticism, his toughness, he brings the wood when he hits people. This is what you love to see nowadays for corners that can not only cover in the passing game but make tackles in the open field as well.
Da’von Sparks Da’von Sparks 5'9" | 165 lbs | RB Springdale | 2022 State AR ( 22 ) | 5-11 RB /DB | Springdale HS
Okay, so Da’von and Ta’jon are tied for the fastest on the list. I included their film so that yall can decide. 33 solo tackles, 15 asst , 48 total tackles, and 2 tackles for loss last season. I really like his ability to play receiver as well. His vertical ability to meet the ball at the apex makes up for his average statuer. Overall a big-time playmaker and one that can produce.
