When it comes to fast football players, the state of Florida has never had a problem, giving you exactly what you want.
In the state of Florida, you have impressive athletes who can play several positions, and when it comes to running the ball, the talent is indeed impressive and available all over the place.

Today, we have five Class of 2022 football players who have deserved the spotlight:
[player_tooltip player_id="50063" first="Kedrick" last="Debron"], Havana Gadsden County. At 6-2, 200 pounds, here is a back who is fast, big, strong and powerful – an elite kind of runner. From running the ball at the line of scrimmage to catching out of the backfield, there is lot to like about this big-time runner. He stays healthy and he will be special. He does so many things well.

[player_tooltip player_id="50013" first="Maurice" last="Jones"], Miami Killian. There are very few pure running backs who have what this young man has – and while it was a tough season after he made the move from Coral Gables to play for the Cougars, there is way too much talent here to ignore. He’s fast, strong and can be an asset as a kick returning, where he is one of the best in the state.

Will Taylor, Chipley. From the first time we saw this impressive athlete, it was a no-brainer. Offense, defense, specialty teams or wherever you want to put him, he will do it. Hit like a truck and runs very well as an outside linebacker. As a running back, he hits the hole fast – and knows exactly where to go when he gets there. This young man is underexposed and is the real deal.

Xavier Townsend, Tampa Berkeley Prep. At 5-11, 180, here is a solid runner, who is strong, quick and powerful runner who has outstanding vision and is tough to bring down. His ability to get up field and catch the ball makes him such a weapon to have. His speed and athleticism adds up to being a football player who can definitely take over a game.

[player_tooltip player_id="50220" first="Alex" last="Williams"], Wewahitchka. As part of the most productive running tandem in the state this past season, this young man is the ultimate running quarterback who runs too well not play the running back position at the next level. He is very fun to watch and gives this program someone who can throw the ball – or run away from you. Also holds down a 3.7 GPA in the classroom.
